As a random stop for something different, W Sushi delivered on a unique taste. Everything was served beautifully and we did the all you can eat lunch for $32.99 a person. Highly recommend when on Guelph

This sushi restaurant totally blew me away! The ingredients are incredibly fresh—the salmon melts in your mouth, and butter fish is rich and buttery. The sushi chef’s skills are top-notch, with perfectly seasoned rice that complements the fish flawlessly.
Must-tries: their crispy cheese salmon roll and salmon sushi—so sweet and creamy, it’s unforgettable! The service is warm and attentive, and the ambiance is cozy yet stylish, perfect for a date night or hanging out with friends.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Felt Ignored and Unwelcome Despite High Expectations
I visited this Japanese restaurant today with genuine excitement as my girlfriend recommended to enjoy some sushi, but the experience left me feeling disappointed and, frankly, uncomfortable.
After being seated, I was given a menu by one staff member who said they would send the server to take my order. When the server arrived after being called again after a long time, they took my order but never offered me water or asked if I needed anything else. Strangely, my girlfriend who was with me was given water and chopsticks right away, while I received neither. When our sushi arrived, there was no wasabi, soy sauce, or chopsticks for me. It was only after I asked that these were brought out.
The inconsistency in how we were treated was glaring, especially since my girlfriend is from a different cultural background. It left me feeling singled out and unwelcome, which was not something I expected walking into a Japanese restaurant for what should’ve been a casual, enjoyable meal.
The sushi itself was good, but the service experience completely overshadowed it. Attention to detail and respectful, equal treatment of all guests should be a minimum standard unfortunately, that was not the case here.

My boyfriend and I went for all you can eat. I have a Gluten Allergy and our server was SO ACCOMMODATING! She went through the entire menu with me and told me what I can and cannot have. She knew which sauces had in wheat and which rolls had in imitation crab or were topped in tempura. She got the kitchen to take out certain things out of the rolls so I could eat them. AND they had gluten free soy sauce. I felt very safe eating here. Thank you to the entire staff!

Went in for dinner. I was a bit concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant itself upon walking in. Our dishes and utensils were clean, as was our table and the servers wore gloves when delivering our food. The food itself was tasty, good portions and came out fast (only 1 other table there at the time). Servers were polite, quick and efficient.

Terrible. We mentioned about allergy before ordering. 1st order came they mix food with other food where I am allergy. Server doesn't even know exactly what is shellfish allergy and we need to explain it to her. Its low quality sushi place. Id recommend other sushi place like Cherry blossom.
My favourite sushi in Guelph! The dinner and lunch menus are both wonderful but dinner has some very cool options like 'torched sushi' that's worth the extra cost. Food tasted fresh, flavourful, and came quickly.
