We ordered a 4-tier wedding cake from Wellington Cakes and were not disappointed! Working with Anne was so great - she's so lovely and quick with communication. I sent her a picture of the cake inspiration and she replicated it beautifully. I told her I had custom figurines made of our dogs, and asked if she could place them on the cake and make it look like they were eating - she executed perfectly! Cake flavors were great as well. For all the flavors she has available, I was surprised to find not only the icing to be different but the cake and filling itself as well. So great! Highly recommend!

We were so fortunate to find Wellington Cakes to make our wedding cake and macaron wedding favours! The cake was beautiful, delicious, and delivered with care to our venue in Burlington. Several of our guests (including our wedding coordinator) complimented the macarons and told us they were the most delicious they had ever eaten! Anne was responsive by email and worked with our wedding coordinator to ensure a seamless delivery.
We enjoyed the tasting and were able to pick different flavours for each of the 3 tiers of our cake. We wanted our cake decorated with flowers in an oil-painting style, and Wellington Cakes delivered a stunning cake. It looked even better than the inspiration photos and exceeded our expectations. We were able to choose the flavours of the macarons and select the colours to match our wedding colours. They came beautifully packaged with a ribbon and made a great edible favour. We highly recommend Wellington Cakes!

I was grateful that they didn't try to upsell us and actually encouraged a smaller cake than we thought we needed. They were right! . Our wedding cake was stunning and delicious. The unique flavours really stood out.

The cake designs this bakery makes are absolutely gorgeous. If ordering for a special occasion I recommend a tasting as there are different flavours and textures that may not work for you. The good thing is if something doesn’t work, they are very cooperative in suggesting alternatives to suit everyone’s needs. This is a local business I will definitely be visiting again.

On the day of the party, amidst all the chaos and excitement, we completely lost track of time and showed up to the bakery about 20 minutes after closing. Anne was out of town, but she went above and beyond by having her husband come out and meet us so we could still pick it up. We were blown away by that level of care and kindness, and we truly couldn’t be more thankful.
Not only was the cake visually stunning, but it tasted absolutely incredible. We chose the salted caramel swirl and our guests are still talking about how delicious it was.

And they have so many flavour combinations to make your cake exactly what you'd like it to be. People often say wedding cake doesn't get eaten by guests. Well, our guests couldn't get over how delicious Anne made the cake. People thought it was a fake cake because of how absolutely perfect it was created. The favours were so beautifully created and tasted amazing! Again, people often say that no one takes their favour at the end of the night.
