Anne was wonderful to work with! She welcomed us for a tasting with a great variety of flavours and fillings to choose from. Just based on my description of colours and flowers, she quickly sketched a mock-up of what our cupcake tower would look like.

We had our wedding cake made by Wellington cakes almost 3 years ago. Going for our cake tasting was such a fun experience. We left even more excited for our big day. I was grateful that they didn't try to upsell us and actually encouraged a smaller cake than we thought we needed. They were right! . Our wedding cake was stunning and delicious. The unique flavours really stood out.
We even had them make us cupcakes in our wedding cake flavours for our first anniversary.

The cake designs this bakery makes are absolutely gorgeous. If ordering for a special occasion I recommend a tasting as there are different flavours and textures that may not work for you. The good thing is if something doesn’t work, they are very cooperative in suggesting alternatives to suit everyone’s needs. This is a local business I will definitely be visiting again.

On the day of the party, amidst all the chaos and excitement, we completely lost track of time and showed up to the bakery about 20 minutes after closing. Anne was out of town, but she went above and beyond by having her husband come out and meet us so we could still pick it up. We were blown away by that level of care and kindness, and we truly couldn’t be more thankful.
Not only was the cake visually stunning, but it tasted absolutely incredible. We chose the salted caramel swirl and our guests are still talking about how delicious it was.

Anne was always great at giving us advice on how to make the most of our cake decorating, which made the products even nicer than we originally imagined. And they have so many flavour combinations to make your cake exactly what you'd like it to be. People often say wedding cake doesn't get eaten by guests. Well, our guests couldn't get over how delicious Anne made the cake. People thought it was a fake cake because of how absolutely perfect it was created. The favours were so beautifully created and tasted amazing! Again, people often say that no one takes their favour at the end of the night. Well, guests were making sure they found theirs before leaving our event! Thanks to Anne and her team!

We’ve been regular customers of Wellington Cakes over the years so when we were looking for a bakery to work with for our wedding, it was an easy choice to work with Anne at Wellington Cakes. The team was professional from the initial consult on flavours and design to the final product. They were also able to work in a request for a custom flavour with a unique nod to my husband’s heritage. The cake was both beautiful and truly delicious and we had great feedback from our guests.

We got an assorted cookie box & 6 butter tarts for a Christmas function. Service was great. Food mediocre. Tart shells were off. Too flaky and odd texture. Cookies were very bland. They presented lovely but the taste etc just wasn't there.
