We paid extra for the onion ring side thinking it would be in house made onion rings. What we got was the same onion rings you can get in the grocery store freezer. Very disappointed especially when we each paid $3 exrea for the “upgraded onion rings”

Service was extremely slow. It was almost 15 mins before someone came to take our drink order. We ordered everything at that point as we were going to see a show and needed to get out of there at a certain time. My order of fish and chips sat at the window for about 10 mins before my husbands order was ready. We sat down at 5:30 and we were served our food at 6:15. We had to to basically inhale the food to make our show in time. Restaurant was not overly busy so I do not know why the service was so slow.

Great service and food. If you are looking for a burger and beer... this is your spot. Staff are very attentive and the manager Erica is awesome.

Overall good. Fish and chips were good, ambiance is what we expected. Service was good as they were busy.

I had the beef steak and cauliflower bites, and both were absolutely amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and tender—while the cauliflower bites were a surprising standout, crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. The balance of taste and quality really impressed me. Kudos to the chef and the team for such a delightful meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Tried the weekly steak special at 1881 Steakhouse & Burger Bar and it was fantastic! Beautifully plated with grilled veggies and a rich, flavorful sauce. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked. Great value and definitely worth coming back for.

The burgers were fantastic. No slim, burnt, smash burger garbage here. Thick and juicy.

Fries were cooked to perfection. The poutine, however, was salty. Fries were over salted, gravy was over salted, cheese curds were lacking... work on that salt shaker... smaller holes maybe?

Suggestion. If you want flavour, try other spices. Salt and pepper aren't the end all and be all. And the customers who are afraid of spice, aren't worth your profit margins to appeal to their bland pallets.

Good food. Too salty. Afraid to use actual spice repertoire.

We stopped in for a steak and wow, no regrets it was absolutely divine! The portion was perfect, the steak just melted in my mouth, and the mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had, so creamy and buttery. The staff were polite and attentive, and the food came out pretty quickly. All in all, such a great spot, highly recommend!

I tried their onion rings and chicken wings. Really the best onion rings I have ever tried. Wings were good too. The jolly girl who was our server was really lovely.

Stopped in for a round of apps to pass some time while waiting for a train. Food was fast, hot, and tasty, and the server was friendly without being intrusive. When we have time, I'd like to come back to sample a few of the entrees.

Went for dinner with some friends and everything was great! Service was quick and our server had a lot of suggestions for food and drinks. They have a great cocktail menu including a Cocktail of the Week, which is affordable and delicious! We started with some appetizers including Coconut Shrimp, which is a new item on their menu. It was delicious and the presentation was great. We all had different items for dinner, and no one had something bad to say. Will be back!

Server was very nice and knowledgeable and menu items looked amazing. Unfortunately quality of food was not good. We will not be returning.
