Wok's Taste Chinese Restaurant 和味

I was waiting for the GO train and wanted a snack and decided to try out this restaurant. Friendly service, modern clean furniture and design, and very immaculate washrooms.

The egg roll was thicker than ones I've seen before but were extremely delicious and fresh and filled with veggies. They gave me a box and a paper bag even though I only ordered two egg rolls. Both ladies were very friendly and cheerful during our interaction.

I would definitely try out this place the next time I am in Guelph and craving Chinese food. Their menu offers both Canadian Chinese and more authentic Chinese food and the downtown Guelph location is convenient.

I came here after 20 years. It’s very forgotten how great the food is. Ask for the Chinese menu for non-Canadian items. Clay pot eggplant with fish, and the cumin beef were so good.

My husband and I have been ordering from this restaurant whenever we don’t feel like cooking, and it never disappoints. The food is ready in just 20 minutes and is always high quality. Delicious, authentic Chinese food—we’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend to everyone!

Absolutely love this place! I have lived in Ontario for 20 years and this is the most authentic, freshest, and best tasting Chinese food I've ever had in Canada! Their menu is extensive! Their prices are great! The portions are large. We ordered the hot and sour soup with shrimp, perfect balance of heat and acidity! Their egg rolls are massive and packed with delicious pork and a ton of bean sprouts and they're fried to the most crispy perfection you can imagine. We had the chefs special breaded garlic jumbo shrimp and it was the best shrimp I've had anywhere here in Canada and I've been here 20 years and I am from Miami where there's a ton of fresh seafood at our disposal. The pork fried rice was cooked well and tasty, good amount of pork. Lastly, we ordered the honey coconut chicken and I'm already craving it again and we just ate there yesterday!
I highly recommended this place, regardless of how far you have to drive, if you want authentic and delicious Chinese food at a great price!

I went in and got one soup and they give me two it was so good and delicious. The service was quick in the staff is so nice!

A restaurant with amazing reputation and well earned. You gotta have one of their egg rolls. They are the biggest I've seen and are very tasty. Love thier food.

Wonton soup was unreal, along with the perfectly cooked pork pan fried dumplings. Meal was very good!

Worst chow mein ever, a pile of veggies on top of spaghettini, starchy and tasteless. General Tao chicken was battered chicken with dipping sauce poured over it. Server was down right rude. Waste of time and money
