Tasty, mostly homemade mediterranean food dished up by lovely, helpful staff. The gyro may be the best in Guelph, and lamb meatballs are really good too. The pitas in the pita and dip are seasoned and lightly fried, and the hummus is so smooth and not overpowering. The make your own options look really good, both veggie and meat (all halal). There were roasted mushrooms, roasted corn, pickled onions, pita strips... A touch on the expensive side, but what isn't these days. At least you're getting quality here. Looking forward to going back for the baklava based on other reviews. Falafel too.

I’ve ordered from Yia Yia several times and the food has always been consistent, fresh and way more than I could eat in one sitting so one meal turns into two. Would recommend the spicy lamb bowl if you’re looking for some heat or the og chicken bowl if you love the classics. And if you really want to spoil yourself , their cookies are top tier! The downside? I don’t live close by which is a shame because I would definitely be eating here 7 days a week 🤤.

Great local spot for gyros and healthy bowls. We’ve never been let down by their quality or service, and know that we’re always getting value for money when we order from Yia Yia’s!

Good food, good prices. They should put under their sign that it’s Greek good or just food in general because I passed by the plaza sign many times and didn’t know what it was. The cookies are really good and I like the Barbet drinks, aside from the wraps which are great too

Took the falafel pita wrap, I would say the pita is frozen enriched wheat flour bread. Not good at all. The filling was okay. Overall didn’t like much taste as the bread was so unhealthy.

Wonderful bowl! What a treat! I had the O.G. (The Original Greek Bowl). I had half lettuce half rice. Yum! I also tried the Baklava; it was the best one I have ever had! I tried the chocolate cookie; it was okay.

Amazing food, friendly and efficient service, and even though it’s take out only, it looks spotless inside. Refreshing to see healthy bowls with plenty of options including build your own. The halloumi cheese and its dipping sauce is incredible.

Can’t wait to go back, and it will be a regular thing for us.

Vegetarian options: Pick your protein.

So disappointed ☹️ because I was so looking forward to trying this place, since I love Mediterranean cuisine.
I really thought it was going to be really good because the employees are so nice and welcoming but I’m not sure how a mistake with my food can happen. They seemed like they cared about the restaurant.
Anyway, I ordered the Og bowl half fries and rice, halloumi with the roasted red pepper dip.
I was so excited to eat it and then I was left so disappointed and upset because I had to throw out most of it.
First off, my food was cold and the fries were undercooked still partially frozen.
The roasted red pepper dip is for sure spoiled. I know because it was really acidic and sour. It went bad
Let me tell you how sick I got into the night….
Not good!!!!! I got very sick
I want to come back and have a refund issued please because this is unacceptable.
