As a man who has physical challenges due to a car accident, I rely on my mobility scooter for what independence I am capable of. To be turned away at the door because the owner doesn’t allow devices like mine in the premises was hurtful. I have been able to use my scooter in shops all over Haliburton. Never have I been turned away at the door — which is not handicap equipped— anywhere . I tried to explain that what the owner calle ‘a bike’ was in fact a disability...read full review
