I usually expect friendly service when I visit A&W, but my experience this time wasn’t great. Even though the order was fine, the cashier Prince, didn’t seem very welcoming. In my experience, he didn’t greet me or say thank you when handing me my order, which made the interaction feel a bit uncomfortable. I hope the staff can focus more on basic customer service, because a simple hello or thank you can make a big difference.

I came with my dad and the only lady at the front immediately went to the back for about 10 minutes when it was our turn in line. It got to the point that it seemed she was avoiding us. When she came out, we only ordered a medium coffee with sugar to the side and when we sat down with it, it was so cold there was no need for the paper warmer. We had to ask for a hotter one and she told us to wait another 7 minutes for the new brew (her exact words was 7 minutes). I don’t know if that’s the regular service or if they were understaffed or what, but we observed her attending to everyone else at a much quicker pace than us throughout all this. Thankfully the second coffee was actually hot but we won’t be coming here again.
