We tried A1 Poutine and Wings and we were completely blown away! We ordered the chicken tenders “naked” with sauce on the side (honey mustard, and honey garlic siracha), the original poutine with waffle fries, and the butter chicken poutine.
The tenders were a perfect size—moist, flavorful even on their own, with breading that was crispy and seasoned just right. The original poutine with waffle fries was delicious, but the real standout was the butter chicken poutine. Literally perfect! The flavor was spot on with the perfect balance of spice and heat— we will absolutely be ordering it again.
On top of the great food, the staff was just as impressive—kind, enthusiastic, and genuinely friendly. Their amazing customer service made the experience even better, and we just did a pick up order! We will definitely be back and are so happy to have a new place to add to our Hamilton favorites ❤️
Was here a few weeks ago and emerged in a food coma - probably why I forgot to write a review. Went the route of shawarma poutine and did the wings up in a smoke lime tequila. Better decisions have rarely been made. 😎

Having moved here from Montreal not long ago I have really high expectations when trying poutine here in Ontario😂 I ordered the onion ring poutine and it was pretty good plus the portion was just right. I'll give it a 8/10 as the gravy tasted a little different. I also had the mozzarella sticks, 9/10.

These guys make one of the best poutines i've ever had, they're taco poutine is just the bomb there wings are excellent, as well. Highly recommend getting poutine here and wings. Their wings are actually really good. Great size very flavorful very tasty
The best poutine in all of Ontario! Bar none! The fries are crispy, the gravy is flavourful, the cheese curds and toppings are plentiful! If I am right, make sure you also give them a review! I don't think anyone can find a better place then A1 Poutine!

Be in there so many times before eating poutines and their wings which are absolutely deadly... Every poutine is crazy good... Went in there today and ordered the popcorn chicken poutine... The lady asked me what kind of sauce I wanted on it... I told her I wanted gravy on it... She put Chipotle on it... I hate Chipotle.... You told me that that is what I asked for... Neat..... On my way out apparently the fellow who I was there with said that she whispered into the air that she would remake it but I didn't hear it I was disappointed enough that I was already gone to eat my gross Chipotle popcorn chicken poutine..... Food is absolutely delicious usually... I just sucks that my lunch was ruined by an assumption.
