My boyfriend and I had dinner here for Valentine’s Day. It was perfect. Our server Mark was amazing, so was all the other staff, such an amazing experience will definitely come here again.

This was my first time here and it left me completely speechless. What an amazing atmosphere & vibe. Food was perfection and so was our server/bartender Bryan. I will defiantly be making the trip back here. well worth it 10/10!!! I would highly recommend the braised beef grilled cheese bites and arancini!!

Had an excellent time at Aberdeen Tavern recently, our drinks and food were incredible- the steak still has me drooling. I will return for the Carbonara alone. 100% recommend

We visited this restaurant for the first time, and while the ambiance initially impressed us, the experience quickly declined from there. The lighting was quite dim, with our table being the darkest spot. Despite multiple requests to increase the brightness, the server explained that the manager preferred the low lighting and would check if adjustments could be made. Unfortunately, this didn’t change much; the lights fluctuated between dim and slightly brighter, which might indicate an electrical issue.
It took an astonishing 30 minutes for one guest to learn that the beer he ordered was unavailable. After he requested an alternative, it took another 15 minutes before I had to follow up on it. Ordering our food also took over half an hour, only to find that nearly half of the menu items were out of stock. This was at 7:45 PM, which raises questions about the manager's inventory management.
When the food finally arrived, it was served promptly by multiple servers, which was a positive aspect. The dishes were decent, rating around a 7 out of 10. However, given the issues with lighting, slow service, and limited menu options, we won’t be returning.

Food was delicious, atmosphere was nice, the manager serving was a miserable thing with a very poor attitude. Her snarky remarks and unwillingness to help the table, after several complaints about the sun blasting us through the window. She was more concerned about the people on the street being able to see inside than the actual paying customers that were currently dining. I will not be returning, and will be sure to share this woman’s bad attitude with friends. She really soured our whole experience. If you can’t do your job kindly, don’t work in customer service.

Aberdeen Tavern was seperately recommended to me and my friend so we met here for a girl's night. We assumed that with a small menu, everything would be good so we relied heavily on our lovely server Jenna G. to help us narrow down our choices.
We shared the calamari and beef tartar and both were excellent. The chimichurri with the calamari was especially delicious.
After hearing that the duck comes from a previous employees family farm, I chose that and was blown away. The duck was perfect and the kale was really over-the-top delicious. My friend had the branzino and similarly loved it.
On choosing our dessert, I said I want anything but key lime pie, but Jenna came over and raved about it and our girl had been steering us right all night so we ordered that to share. It was worth raving over, and finished off the meal perfectly. The smoked crust was different but so lovely and a welcome update to a reliable classic.
The signature cocktails we had were delicious and my friend's tequila cocktail had a flower in it, which was a fun surprise.
All in all, a lovely evening. We left full, happy and sleepy. The chef deserves their name on the menu alongside the GM, everyone did a great job.
