I didn't have a pleasant experience. I went based on Google Maps recommendations, which usually works well for me, but this time I must say the service wasn't what I expected. The food was okay, but the service didn't make us feel comfortable ☹️

My boyfriend and I stopped into Amigos last night for dinner and as per usual, the food and service where phenomenal!
For drinks, I started off with their Paloma and my partner gave their Mojito a go. Both cocktails were beautifully crafted and although I am not typically a fan of Mojito's, I had a taste of my partners and HOLY HECK was it good! I will 100% be ordering my own next time.
For dinner I ordered one of their chicken tacos and one of their fish tacos. Both were packed with incredible flavor and ingredients. They fill their tacos very well so not only are you getting your money's worth but I find them filling. Unlike some establishments where you're paying $7+ for a bougie taco that looks like it was crafted to feed a small infant. My partner ordered one their wraps which he found delicious and perfectly filling as well. To end the meal, we obviously had to go with their traditional churros! Always a favourite when I get that sweet tooth craving.
In regards to the service, the staff where very much on top of their game. Incredibly polite, friendly and always checking in on their guests. But not so much that it becomes annoying. The atmosphere of Amigos is fun, colorful and matches their brand.
10/10 Highly recommend if you aren't already familiar with this hot spot!

Such a great spot for Mexican food in Hamilton! We tried the tacos and nachos, and both the quality and quantity were excellent. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. They also have a great variety of drinks to choose from too.
Everything was delicious, both the food and the drinks. We ordered guacamole with nachos as an appetizer, and for the main course I had a beef chimichanga, which I absolutely loved. I definitely recommend it and would order this dish again 😋🤤

Birria tacos are the best tacos I've ever tasted and the waitress is super attentive and cute, excellent service and atmosphere.
This was by far the worst service I’ve experienced in years. • Rude, dismissive comments from servers. • No side plates provided when we vocalized that we were going to share a few plates • I called ahead to confirm they were dog-friendly, yet when I arrived with my dog, not even a bowl of water was offered. • I had to walk inside twice — once to beg someone to take my order, and again to chase down my bill.
And let’s not forget — there were only three people in the entire place. Yes, 1…2…3. If you can’t handle three guests, maybe close your doors and call it a day.
As someone who works in hospitality, I can say with certainty this is the bare minimum of service, and they still managed to fail on every level.
I will never return, never recommend, and I strongly warn anyone considering this place: don’t waste your time, money, or energy. This restaurant is a disgrace to the industry — consider yourself warned.

While the other guys hand you a packet of mystery hot sauce, this place serves the real deal. Tacos bursting with flavor, salsa that actually makes you smile, and guac so good it should be on the menu as ‘therapy.’ And don’t even get me started on the Taco Supremo — it’s off the charts good.
