I don’t think I’ve ever sprinted to write a review so fast. I went to Ark + Anchor for breakfast two days in a row because I have trust issues with hotel breakfasts. ? On the first day I had the danish oats which were so soul warming and delicious then on the second morning I had their breakfast sandwich and it might be one of the best I’ve ever had. The homemade focaccia is the perfect vessel for their herby eggs and the whole thing was the perfect way to start the day....
Walked down today to grab myself an iced coffee as it was the perfect walking distance from my home. The coffee was great! I love the use of frozen espresso cubes so the coffee doesn’t get diluted - tad on the pricier side but definitely delicious!
Went here for a date with my girlfriend and it's become our new go-to cafe spot. A really cozy environment on the bottom but especially the top floor. And the drinks we had were really high quality. Their matcha is really smooth but with slight earthy undertones, enjoyed either hot or cold. And their selection of teas are again really nice in terms of flavours. They're bagged in house too, from loose leaf.
