We had an amazing time at August 8, the atmosphere was amazing, the service from Mariae was incredible, she was very sweet and attentive. The food was also great! I definitely recommend 🥰
August 8 on Upper James St was once a very good place to go for sushi. Loved the food and the vast selection . All at very reasonable prices. The service was very good, a sushi restaurant that I remember well. A sushi restaurant I will recommend without a second thought. It's too bad that it burned down almost a year ago, with no sign of it being repair or even to be rebuilt.
Generally speaking the food is really good, especially torched sushi. But chicken wings are terrible, 10 times worse than the wings from fried chicken places. The price for "all you can eat" is slightly expensive, try your best to get your money's worth (psychologically). The staff are nice and friendly, they add water to our cups quickly. The toilet is dirty and smelly with very sticky floor.
