Awesome bar with great homemade food and nice patrons that are always up for a chat. The owner is a really nice lady and you can tell she cares about the bar and its customers. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I tell everyone about this place!

The food was good, and the place is really small, bringing cash as they dont accept credit or debt. They do have an atm that charges 2 dollars for cash
Went to this bar, not sure what to expect looking from the street, but I walked in and immediately felt the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced as a new comer. The people were electric and I never had that many laughs, will be back for sure

Having recently moved to Hamilton I was looking for a local. Wandered into this gem a very friendly group of regulars who made me feel welcome right away. Barb tge owner is friendly and makes some killer soups! Excellent food and an all round great experience every time i visit.

This place should be lucky more former employees dont call the labour board on them. Imagine making your bartenders work 11 hours with no breaks or free food? Not allowing them to have a seat in front of customers and making them do the beer delivery which makes them go up and down a set of stairs and still not give them a break. Not to mention how many employees thatre being paid under the table and only having two employees on the books to not look suspicious.Also during covid not enforcing the vaccine mandate. Especially when it comes to the owners family or regulars but being told if you get caught allowing them in you’re responsible for the fine.If I can find the former employees I will be convincing them to call the labour board.
