We celebrated our sons and FDIL Yankas shower a couple of weeks ago. I can't say enough about Guilia and her team. The set-up was beautiful and the food was delicious. We are still getting compliments ,and the future Bride and Groom were thrilled.

We went to Barbara Caffe for a New Year’s Eve dinner with 2 other couples (party of 6) and had a fantastic meal! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the season, and the section where we were seated felt cozy and festive. The servers were run off their feet because the restaurant was packed, but they did such a good job of attending to everyone. The service was good but the food was outstanding! I had the short rib dinner (3 of us had this) which came with mashed potatoes and rapini. This meal was so delicious! The short ribs were fall of the bone, the gravy was rich and flavourful, the portion was VERY generous and the rapini was the perfect side. One of our friends had the carbonara and the spicy shrimp starter which she said was excellent, another friend had the sea bass which she said was the best she’d ever had. Honestly, they knocked it out of the park. Despite how busy the servers were (they were short one due to illness) everyone was pleasant and attentive. I cannot recommend this lovely, family run restaurant enough. I wish I had taken photos to share with you.

Contacted them to place a take out order (giving 2 days notice) was told “sorry I’m fully booked” was dismissed quickly not sure if they are running there business as a events centre or a resturant?? Just bad rude customer service almost like they are picking and choosing which customers they want to serve!!! Woman on the phone who said she is the only one who events was rude! The owners should really take a look at this!! Don’t know of any place that refuses take out orders!

We expected good food based on some of the reviews, however the food was disgusting to say the least. The meat had this horrible smell, the vegetables were tasteless and we couldn't wait to get out of there. The restaurant looked like it had its regulars enjoying the food and the atmosphere however for us it was a big disappointment.

Have heard great things about this restaurant and finally had a chance to dine here. Very attentive staff from the minute we walked in until we left. The havarti app was quite unique with a delicious dip to complement the cheese. The veal & chicken Parmesan were both delicious. Although the desserts looked delicious, we couldn’t indulge. We will on our next dining experience here.
Barbara Cafe is a wonderful dining experience! We held our league volleyball banquet there for many years and the service and food have been amazing! Pastries are to die for! Definitely a must visit restaurant!

It is nicer than I expected for something in a strip mall, they have made it nice, including an outdoor area sheltered well from the parking lot as much as is possible. My only complaint was that it was very noisy and difficult to speak with others in our group, which was in a reserved area at the back.
The food was fine (chicken parm with penne), the bruschetta was excellent, but the salad was so salty I could only eat 1/3 of it before realizing this really was not healthy to be eating.
