Friendly staff...BUT really cheap out to charge 50 cents extra for a small piece of RYE bread. Really!
Home fries tasted moldy,! Sorry...don't recommend this diner.

Excellent breakfast. I had 2 eggs, crisp bacon toast, homefries, and beans. I had my own carafe of coffee.

Broadway Diner is a friendly, independent diner on Hamilton’s mountain. There is a variety of all-day menu options, including breakfast staples. On our visit, the servers were very friendly and attentive, and the service quite prompt. We would visit again.

My wife and I were semi regulars at this restaurant until about a month ago . My wife ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce and when it arrived there was lots of spaghetti and only a small amount of meat sauce and it was very dry , it had all the moisture cooked out of it .

My wife asked if the waitress could bring more sauce and she said she could but we would have to pay for it . My wife protested and showed her the dried up sauce but she wouldn’t budge .

We didn’t pay for the sauce and my wife ate what she could . Even when the waitress took away the plates and three quarters of my wife’s spaghetti was left and my wife said she couldn’t eat it because it was too dry , she just laughed and took the plates .

Because of this we won’t be returning . I know times are tough for lots of restaurants, but times are tough for everyone just now . The waitress was pleasant but there was NO customer service .

Been coming here for years and the breakfast is always superb. However, on this occasion I tried the fish and chips. The portion size was very good but the taste of the fish was flat and unremarkable despite the 1 lemon wedge it’s served with. I really enjoyed their tartare sauce which enhanced the fries.

Normally on Fridays I'd rate 4-5. But today I was hungry and instead of ordering my usual seniors fish and chips I went for $4 more to get two pieces of fish. I got the same size of fish cut in half and less fries. This more expensive version didn't include a salad either. Very disappointed and considering the many other alternatives for the future. Dress warm if you want to try this location.
