I don’t live in Hamilton anymore and Café Oranje is one of the places I miss the most. All of the staff are so so so lovely and our conversations, although brief, would always brighten my day. The café itself is cozy and fun featuring vintage artwork of Hamilton. They have awesome food and drinks, with their matcha latte being my all time favourite. A true local Hamilton gem that you must try if you’re in town :)
I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't rate their drinks, but I did get an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie from there on Sunday and it was phenomenal. Actually one of the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies I've ever had, I'm going to have to go back just for the cookie!
Everything was delicious. The breakfast sandwich, breakfast tosti, I believe it was called, soo yummy! I had latte and a chai latte, both were perfect in every way. I also grabbed 3 cookies to go which were perfectly soft and chewy. Lastly, I really want to make mention of how wonderful the service was. I interacted with 3 different staff and each of them was pleasant, helpful and just good energy!
