A great little hidden gem. The pizza is flavourful with a nice crispy (but fluffy) crust. The pepp pizza is a bit greasy but worth it. The monkey bun is a great option but I would recommend asking for it to be warmed up to enjoy it more. The cortado here was excellent, strong but great flavour. Staff are all friendly. It gets busy from time to time with take out traffic, but defintiely worth a visit for a quick lunch/coffee break.

I seriously tried to find ANYTHING to not give them a perfect 5 but I can’t . I’ve gone down the menu for all their pizzas and every one hits the mark. The donuts, I try to avoid but can’t help it! My wife and I have been coming here for a while now, well before any TikTok / Instagram reviews and have yet to be disappointed. Even our recommendations have been met with the same enthusiasm. I can’t say they are the to spot in the Hammer but they definitely deserve there spot at the top!

Café Baffico is an absolute gem in Hamilton’s east end! I came here for both the pizza and the donuts, and both were fantastic. The sourdough pizza crust is light but still chewy, and you can taste the quality in the ingredients. I tried the Roni Supreme and the Summer Garden Party — the balance of flavors and the option to add a drizzle of hot honey really put it over the top. Easily some of the best pizza I’ve had in the city.
The donuts are just as impressive. They’re made with sourdough, which gives them a unique texture and flavor that sets them apart from the usual. I had the Apple Fritter and a Mango Chili Cruller, and they were fresh, creative, and not overly sweet. Definitely the kind of donuts you tell friends about.
The café itself has a warm, cozy vibe with friendly staff who clearly care about what they’re serving. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared and the space is well maintained. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a quick coffee and pastry or sit down for a pizza night and feel at home either way.

Came for pizza with my Dad. We're new Hamilton and discovering all the best food spots. Pizza was fantastic. Didn't get the opportunity to try an iced tea because they didn't have sugar free syrup, but I understand, just have to be better prepared with my own sweetener next time. Will definitely be going back and getting donuts next.
