Great bakery, fresh cider and apples available and the store is stocked with lots of gourmet goodies. I found gifts for several people even though I was originally just going in for muffins.

Took my grandsons apple picking today — or so I thought! Turns out, we were actually paying $5 to pick rotten apples off the ground. Both of them looked at me and said, “Ewwww! We’re not coming back here, right?”

$4 for a pumpkin! What a great price. Nice to know that this farm is not taking advantage of high prices these days. Friendly service.

My high esteem for carluke Orchards is twofold.
I appreciate their connection and commitment to their community. I don’t know everything they help with, but I know how much they help the Ancaster Fair. Every year they go above and beyond to help with the fair fun. I can’t imagine the pie eating contest without them.
Personally, I’m once again moved emotionally by how good their butter tarts are. I just ate one after being without for months (I no longer live in the area). The best. Better by far than my mother’s, and she was an amazing baker.

It can be a short or long visit, whatever your group would like it to be. The orchard has a great variety of apples, is well marked, neat, and very pretty. It is dog friendly orchard. The store is adorable and well stocked. We may have been late in the season as the trees were picked clean below 6 feet. Now we know to go a week or so earlier next year. As for the price, you choose your bag size ahead of time and pay up front. It's much easier than waiting to weigh out at the end of your walk. I'd highly suggest Carluke.

Apples Apples APPLES!! The orchard was plentiful woth APPLES of many varieties. I could not eat any due to my Diabetes, but the re were mamy families emjoying the apples.. and possible SECRET APPLES too. I chose to not watch the final Mets game and enjoy the scorching sun. Ofcourse they LOST TO THE MARLINS!! I TOLD YOU IT WOULD HAPPEN !! PETE ALONSO WILL JOIN THE PINK PONY CLUB!! We will lose 100 games, NO heart. I would also suggest a hot dog cart for this location.
Thank you!

$10 each person for corn maze and petting zoo gets expensive for families if your children are over 5 yrs old.
