Cedar Falafel & Shawarma

I've tried nearly every popular shawarma spot in Hamilton and this is now hands down my favourite. Everything I've tried here is delicious. The chicken is always fresh, fries are super crispy, wraps are mixed well and balanced, sauces are so flavorful. The portions are generous(look at that poutine) and they have a great daily wrap meal deal. On top of all this, super friendly service and a clean dining area.

The best shawarma experience. I had shawarma for takeout and the girl helping me really filled the platter up. Foods been always delicious but the service was something that stood out. Thanks for the hospitality.

Im sorry, I dont understand what all the hype is about. The falafel is NOT AT ALL, what falafel is. There isnt a hint of green (herb) in the batter at all, unrecognizable spice, that makes the falafel taste diff than what it should, greasy.......and way too much salt!!! So much salt after frying.....I ate 1½ falafel, and I was drinking water all night after. There was soooo little meat in the beef shawarma wrap. Could see it, tasted nothing but toum and pickled turnip, even though I asked for no pickle. I hope my experience is a one off. This is not at all what this type of food is supposed to be.

I ordered family platter for Christmas Eve family gathering. The food was fresh made and prepared for agreed time. Food was fresh, hot and delicious and we had plenty of leftover. I added falafels to order. Delicious with their own made humus. Highly recommend

Cedar Falafel & Shawarma never disappoints! The service is always great and the team truly goes above and beyond every time. The food is incredibly delicious and always fresh — quality you can count on. I’m a regular here, and I’ve ordered the family platter and the shawarma bites platter multiple times; both are excellent and always a fan favourite with guests. The staff is exceptionally kind and genuinely tries to do the best job possible, which really shows. They’ve also updated their interior recently, and the seating and ambiance are really nice now. Highly recommend!

The lamb shank at Cedar Falafel in Hamilton is absolutely outstanding. The meat is incredibly tender, slow-cooked to perfection, and falls right off the bone. It’s rich, flavorful, and well-seasoned, with a deep, comforting taste that feels truly authentic. Served hot and satisfying, it’s easily one of the best lamb shanks I’ve had in the area. Highly recommended for lamb lovers.

Cedar Falafel & Shawarma catering is the best! It was so easy to coordinate the large order with a number of dietary restrictions with the Cedar staff. They went above and beyond on the day of pick up to ensure that the food was hot and ready for transport at the pre determined pick up time. They even sent us with lots of extra food. Highly recommend!

We had the best experience yesterday with this restaurant. Ordered takeout for a family get together and from the start Maria was very helpful and accommodating. We ordered the Family Plate and added on some falafel and extra kafta. When I told Maria that we had a few vegetarian guests, she offered to make up a separate tray with the vegetarian foods which was so nice. The food itself was presented well and was delicious. Everyone loved it. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great food and exceptional customer service.
