It is close to where I live. Baba booey
Honestly I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s start with the big breakfast meal from taste of home. The eggs are fake and vey watery, the sausages come in very small portions and the pancakes breads are hard as a rock. The food is over priced, all the foods they sell are awful and the whole place is very unsanitary. Paramount is also highly overpriced, and I can’t believe that they managed to mess up chicken tenders(taste of home). Genuinely one of the most atrocious food options on campus, McMaster should be ashamed of themselves for providing students with this based on the fees they charge. On top of that Centro is the only place that serves food on campus is open on the weekends.

McMaster Alumni here, was in the area so decided to drop by Centros and get the chicken shawarma platter from Paramount. It was my go to meal to get when I was a student here. To no surprise, it tasted the exact same. Tender chicken with the sauce combination makes for an incredible tasting meal. Definitely a must try as a McMaster student In My Opinion.

Parents should be grateful to this food court that their teenagers have a choice of home-cooked meals here.

First and foremost, staff are amazing and really kind (except some cashiers). However, the cleanliness is a problem for me. Today i ordered a smpl meal and got served with a side of unknown solid yellow mush and a black fluff. It was mixed in the vegetable and i almost put it in my mouth. Go to bistro instead.Edit: forgot to mention that portions are inconsistent and therefore not worth the price. GO TO BISTRO

Meats that are not Halal are being sold as Halal. Current hospitality management team buys product unfit for dogs and expects cooks to make it taste edible. Prices are shockingly high for students. Depressing to witness such greed by management. Students/Parents should be treated with more respect.

I'm writing this review mainly about the paramount store located at Centro. While the food is normally cooked well and the meat is fresh, serving sizes are inconsistent. For $12, the rice bowl with chicken is the meal I purchase most often. However, the amount of food I get varies depending on what employee it working that day. Sometimes I'll find myself with a full bowl filled to the brim, and other times there will be barely enough to fill half the bowl. Other than that, the food at paramount is quite good.
While expensive, there is also a decent selection of juice and milk near the cashier area as well.
In general I wish prices were a dollar or two cheaper throughout Centro but it is still one of the cheapest places on campus from what I can tell.

Just mediocre at best... workers are unfriendly, the food is at best unremarkable, and the pricing is absurd. There's a reason nobody goes here unless they're a naive first year who hasn't picked up on the fact that anywhere else is

Restaurantji Recommends
Really not as bad as everyone says if you've got a meal plan (and only that). Paramount is pretty decent and the chicken tenders are good enough when fresh. I did hear that they recently renovated so that might be why things are better than I've heard. The ladies are nice enough, not really a concern of mine.

Everything is pretty bad. I would avoid the shawarma place as the chicken is really really bad. The hamburgers are terrible. Boiled patties.

Really not as bad as everyone says. Some specials I can recommend are the shawarma poutine (Paramount) and the Tartufo (ice cream).Fyi: I have a meal plan.

Just fine. Food is OK, prices are questionable, and everything is just OK. service was nice though, but that's about it. Nice seating space outside and has quite a few options, but it's pretty much useless with the quality of food they have. Don't pay here unless you have a meal plan.

All the food at centro is always disgusting. From dried out chicken at paramount to raw chicken sandwiches. Do not get food here unless you need to. Got food poisoning around 3 times already.
