My wife and I were regular customers of their restaurant from the late 1980's to the early 2000's. We have always enjoyed their food . We occasionally get takeout from them and still enjoy their great food . They still have a great menu and great specials.
We ordered for pick up yesterday and were disappointed.
I use to order from here years ago and enjoyed the food. This time, unfortunately, it was not. My spring roll was mushy, the chicken wings very small and dry, the lemon chick batter was hard and over abundant. As well, the orange beef was soft. I've never had soft orange beef. Not a fan anymore. Too bad as they are within walking distance to my home.
The food was ok, if you like it super salty. Perhaps too much msg?
The serving sizes were good, larger than average but so was the salt. Did I mention that the food was extremely salty?
What really killed if for me and it was my own fault for for completing the order in the first place was that the woman on the phone was incredibly rude. She argued with me on every point. First she left me on hold for 5 minutes, well not hold but set the phone down so I could hear...read full review
