I recently went here to get some things for valentines day. The staff and owner were friendly but the quality of the items were not great. I ordered some chocolate covered strawberries to be made fresh and most of them were clearly old with one even starting to mold after one day.
The items in the gift basket were not much better. The chocolate covered toffee was very stale. The chocolate covered pretzels were stale to the point where they tasted like cardboard and had to be thrown in the garbage. It felt like the basket was put together with items that were sitting around for a long time and needed to gotten rid of by making them into a gift basket which is kind of frustrating considering it cost $75.
Hopefully the new ownership can work on improving the quality of the product as its a nice business and something hamilton needs. Would love to see Chocolat on James succeed through this difficult economy!

A go to place for me and my wife whenever we crave hot chocolate. Tried many hot chocolates around but most of them are powdery, but these guys make it with just chocolate and milk, and thats what makes it amazing.

He helped me with all the wonderdul choices and served up an absolutely delicious chocolate vanilla ice-cream swirl covered with hard chicolate shell and rasberry sauce - all for leas than $10.00!

A good place in Hamilton if you’re looking for Belgian chocolate. They use Callebaut, which is my favorite, so that’s a big plus. When I visited, it was a bit busy about 5–7 people waiting for ice cream and chocolates — and there was only one lady running the whole shop like a superhero. She was everywhere, helping customers, and still managed to be friendly and attentive.
