The best ice cream and chocolate you’ll find, period! Never a disappointment when I visit and always the best customer service. 10/10!
I just left Chocolat; one of my favourite local places to visit when my desire for sugar arises. I love this place, I love the service, and I love the variety of sweets and treats as well as the care with which they are crafted. I opted today for a variety pack of salt water taffy and, because it looked so irresistible, a slice of strawberry raspberry cheesecake fudge. I've also taken more than one opportunity to try their ice cream concoctions and fully enjoyed each experience.
They are selling shit. They made me taste a toffeee chocolate and I bought one considering the good taste but the pack that I bought taste like hell. Plus on the name of dubai chocolate I got a fake product. If you still wanna waste the money feel free to go there. Cheap packing is used on the products
Ice cream pictures attracted us from Oakville. Taste was OK not extra ordinary but chocolate dipping was good. The sugar free bars and ice cream all super expensive but very sweet. Considering the run down area prices are too much when you have to factor in parking also
Leaving this review after a disappointing recent visit. Things have really gone downhill and reading through other recent reviews, I’m not alone in feeling this way. The portions are noticeably smaller, they’re cutting back on chocolate toppings, and now they’re even charging extra for spoons — seriously? For the premium price they’re charging, the experience just doesn’t match anymore. When we brought it up with the staff, the response was basically: pay more if you want more toppings. It feels like they’re cutting corners wherever they can while still charging full price. I won’t be going back, and I definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone.
Not what it used to be.
$0.50 if you want extra plastic spoons…
Sundaes look nothing like the photos. They use a fraction of the toppings.
Very yummy chocolate! My grandma us diabetic and liked that they had sugar free options. Shopkeeper was helpful and friendly.
sweet little shop
Amazing ice cream!
Gabbie is very welcoming and prepares delicious ice-cream. I recommend this place because of Gabbie who provides excellent customers service.

Overpriced and horrible quality
The business has all the signs of going under very soon. No staff anymore, just the owner standing there. Lights off on one side of the store, with a bunch of boxes. Owners changed through covid, prices skyrocketed(+35%) and no, its not because of inflation. The selection also dropped.
This place used to be one of the best shops on James St, and fairly busy all the time. I've been going there for the last 8yrs now. There used to be about 3 staff working all the time. This store does not understand what customers want and increasing prices rapidly is a quick way to go out of business.
Used to love this place, but it’s gone downhill. The management used to be great, you could count on generous toppings and consistent quality. Lately, it’s just not the same. Toppings are noticeably less, and the whole experience feels underwhelming. Disappointed to see how much it’s changed.
Used to love this place, and their truffle boxes. You could do a box of four, twelve etc. My sister went in today to get one as a gift for our grandmother and was told they no longer do the truffles in boxes and they were charged individually. They gave them to her in a small paper bag. Totally disappointed, no way I can give this as a gift to someone, the presentation is sad.
A lot of options from a few dollars to $100. Fudge, truffles, ice cream in the summer, dipped candy and pretzels, bark, sponge and a few non chocolate options too. They make beautiful gifts and also great grab and go options. Always worth dropping in.
