I stop in about once a month with my daughter at Chocolat on James. We love the warm and friendly service and the treats and coffee are always excellent. I highly recommend this shop for its unique and delicious offerings.

Best Hot Chocolate in Hamilton I would say.
A go to place for me and my wife whenever we crave hot chocolate. Tried many hot chocolates around but most of them are powdery, but these guys make it with just chocolate and milk, and thats what makes it amazing.

I was on James St N in Hamilton earlier today, when I was overcome with an immeduate need for chocolatee and ice cream. Went into Chocolat on James and met new owner Dan, who just took over today! He helped me with all the wonderdul choices and served up an absolutely delicious chocolate vanilla ice-cream swirl covered with hard chicolate shell and rasberry sauce - all for leas than $10.00!

A good place in Hamilton if you’re looking for Belgian chocolate. They use Callebaut, which is my favorite, so that’s a big plus. When I visited, it was a bit busy about 5–7 people waiting for ice cream and chocolates — and there was only one lady running the whole shop like a superhero. She was everywhere, helping customers, and still managed to be friendly and attentive.
Everything we tasted here was very stale — this is so disappointing considering how much money you pay for chocolate here :( if you are interested in getting fresh bonbons and chocolate locally made in Hamilton, I would highly recommend going to Madam Bonbon on Locke Street instead!

Sad to say this establishment has gone downhill. Crazy expensive, less selection and a couple of the chocolates were disappointing - walnuts in the cluster were rancid. So disappointing.
