I happened to drive past this shop and couldn't resist stopping in—I love the Toonie Tuesday idea! I tried the Red Velvet and the Chocolate with vanilla icing. While Red Velvet is usually my go-to, the Chocolate was incredibly moist and ended up being my favorite this time. The Red Velvet was a bit firmer but still good. Both staff members were lovely showed me the cupcakes after it was iced (I believe the gentleman was the owner). I’m a big fan of supporting local businesses even though I am not from Hamilton but I wish them nothing but the best

The best cupcakes in GTA, hands down. Not too sweet, the perfect texture, flavour is unmatched - everything is just chef’s kiss. My favourite is the classic vanilla cupcake with the chocolate frosting. You can tell from the first bite that this bakery has not skimped on the quality of any of their ingredients and are very, very experienced at what they do. The bakers are always super friendly and seem to be very passionate about baking. Thank you for offering such amazing cupcakes - please, please continue to do so! Wish they had a location closer to where I live - if so, I would definitely go there every other day. Really appreciate when they bring their cupcakes to McMaster University. Cupcakes are also very reasonably priced. Can write a lot more about how amazing these cupcakes are, but will stop here and urge you to try them yourself if you are a fan of classic baking that is made with excellent quality ingredients, baking that is subtle but top notch at the same time, baking that does not need to be doused in syrups or whipped creams because the substance and main product itself is so amazing. Paul made us beautiful gender reveal cupcakes (+ a pupcake), and we picked up a couple extra flavours in store. All super delicious and reasonably priced. A very pleasant experience! Highly recommend this shop for any occasion (or if you just want a yummy cupcake)

Paul at Westdale is the absolute best! We had a big, custom order for our wedding and the cupcakes turned out absolutely perfectly! The price is extremely reasonable, too. We needed a lot of gluten free and dairy free options and Paul was so helpful explaining the offerings and packing them separately. Everyone loved the cupcakes and they keep really well in the fridge or airtight containers if there are leftovers (although they’re really delicious so don’t count on leftovers 😂). We will definitely work with Westdale in the future!
