Was craving a good feed of fish and chips. Went Monday Aug, 29 2022 around 12:30pm, Made a special trip from near Hamilton Airport. Place was closed. How disappointing. Had to settle for run of the mill fast food from a franchise.

Good food.. sometime extra wait timea after ordering. A little rough in the customer service department. I suspect its not a easy business to be in. I'd like to see a "Debbie vrs Gordon Ramsey" show down.. It would be epic :-)

Wow, what a find! Really delicious fish and chips. Fries were hand cut and so delicious. Fish was light and tasty. I will never go anywhere else for fish and chips. This is such a good deal. I'd be willing to pay more for this wonderful dinner. You gotta go here!!

Outstanding - Every Time!~ Debbie's Fish & Chips - when I first had her fish and chips - I remember going back and saying to her "these are the absolute best fries and great fish I've ever had! " I've been a very regular customer ever since.The fact that there are ALWAYS patrons there whenever I go there is a testament to how good and how busy she is - due to great food and good prices.Here daily specials are a great value and are really good - the sausages are great - the fries are the best I've ever had. I was very impressed with how good this place is definitely would meet UK standards of fish abd chips and is up there with the better ones, i tried various fish and chips around GTA and just about all are garbage. That Halibut House place for example was all dry and tasteless.This one has moist flaky fish and tasty chips cooked the proper British way.The service is very good no nonsense down to earth like it should be at a proper British fish and chips, she even apologized for the take out taking about 20 minutes to prepare i got no problem with that as it means its freshly cooked to order.Most of these negative reviews are obviously by non British people who don't know what fish and chips is supposed to be like.

Just had Fish & Chips from here for the first time and I can't say enough good things about Debbie's. Fish was perfectly cooked, loved the onion rings and I got battered shrimp for my son( and he is fussy about his shrimp) and he really liked it. I would highly recommend Debbies

It’s unfortunate, as it is the closest place to us.We hadn’t even had a chance to put our masks on before she basically yelled at us about our masks, and then when we asked if she was open all day (because we needed to get cash), her curt reply was , “well I’m here aren’t I!?”. We didn’t even get a chance to order food/ nor did we even want to after that.Maybe her food is alright, but customer service is key. We definitely do not recommend.

Tonight my family and I had this place for the first time in years. Poor Debbie was working still at 10pm to fill the insane amount of orders on Good Friday. We ordered a family fish n chips, and chicken fingers. My family loved it.From the fries, the gravy and the chicken everything was awesome. Cant beat the price either. Worth the wait. We will be back.
