Best cauliflower wings…. They are battered not crumbed so it’s more similar to a Chinese takeout chicken ball than to a mcnugget. 10/10 cauliflower wings!!!!!

I am visiting Hamilton for the week and was thrilled tonight stumble upon Democracy. I got the waffle burger and a strawberry tea lemonade. As I watched people of all ages come in and out, it was clear this is a great spot that the community loves. The food was spectacular! One of the best vegan meals I have ever had! Whoever is the cook here knows what they are doing. I will most certainly be back if I have time.

I am giving 3 because the service was good but the food was not that good. My partner had the pizza and he was not happy about it. Dough was not good and had a lot of pickles for a big mac flavour pizza. He did not like the dough either. I had their spinach dip and it was watery and not a lot of flavour. ☹️maybe the other food in the menu is good. This is our experience.

It was amazing to find this delicious all vegan restaurant in an adorable neighborhood! The just egg sandwiches were a big treat for the kids, and the cauliflower wings, and on the lighter side we got a tempeh BLT and the edamame avocado toast . wish we could have stayed all day ha ha! The brunch menu on weekends is a little different, we were actually hoping for more lunch type salad fare but it turned out great anyway. Lovely space and excellent service too Highly highly recommend.

I really like democracy. It is a place to chill. I’ve brought my book and felt very comfortable to read by myself. I also went with friends and it was a great atmosphere to talk and have a relaxing afternoon. Chai latte is my favorite, but the mocha is also great!

Such a great coffee shop. Staff are super friendly and warm. The atmosphere inside the cafe is always cozy and I love all the plants. I dont go for food as I dont really enjoy it but the beverages are 👍🏻👍🏻!

I attended here at 6:15 p.m. on a Thursday night with a friend for dinner. My friend had never attended this restaurant before, and I had recommended it as a good place to go, despite having some service issues in the past and not having been in some time. When we arrived, there was a sign on the menu that read the chef is on a break until 6:30 p.m., food will be a 40 minute wait. We ended up taking our business to Bardo down the street. Astonishing that this is a restaurant that does not have cooks working consistently over the dinner hour. Is cooking/serving food not the entire purpose of a restaurant? Unbelievable.
