Denninger's Hamilton Downtown

I just got an order from the Burlington store through Instacart. I'm in Ancaster. I used to eat your food all of the time, literally, but haven't for a few years as I am too disabled to shop. To say I'm totally disappointed is an understatement. The beef stroganoff has no meat, except 3 pieces honestly the size of my small fingernail! Mushrooms though, and a bit of watery gravy. The cheddar and bacon roesti are so hard at this moment I could use them as hockey pucks. My half blueberry pie was in a large container so 1/2 the filling fell out! The curry pie is tiny. I won't try the Swedish meatballs, scalloped potatoes or bangers until another day but my expectations are very low. what has happened to your amazing good? I won't be ordering from you again and certainly will not be recommending anyone else to either either, even if prices were lower. So, so disappointed, and I was so excited about delivery at less than $25.00.

Was so sick after eating the goulash, did not even make it home before throwing up.

So sad to see such an institution as the downtown location decline so quickly. This is the last time my wife and I will make a special day trip from Toronto to the downtown Hamilton Store to enjoy their famous Kitchen.
The servers didn't know-how to make a Denniger Eggwich for my wife and the preparation was unlike we had ever seen; the final product was not pleasing to the eye nor was it tasty!
I ordered one of their famous pork and beef burgers on a bun and also a sausage on aa bun. It was tasteless and both the onions and saurkraut tasted unlike what we have had in the past. I wondered if it was off?
After the unsavory meal, I drove to Burlington stopped, got out of my car and noticed that my knees were swollen. I had great difficulty driving home and walking to my place.
It seems that they have changed bakery supply.
Up until now, we had been going to Dennigers downtown at least monthly for years.

Love the convenience of this location and it carry’s great products. Especially love the deli products and other European items!

My favourite place to.grab a quick lunch. Their chicken cordon bleu is awesome, also the fries are great too!

One of the smaller food chains but excellent quality, my favorite in Hamilton.

Great little grocery shop and a fantastic place to get lunch. They have a hot food counter second to none. Salads, schnitzel, sausages, mac n cheese... etc

We tried the hotdogs and the Ruben today and it was beyond expectations!! We loved it and we are definitely coming back to try more items
The service was very friendly as well and the atmosphere is cozy and family oriented

Really rude, middle aged white lady works on the cash. Gave me attitude when I came in and didn't say hi back to her. Also made a clerical error and thought it was funny.

Oh, the food!!! Scrumptious food bar.... groceries and the incredible Tutto cheddar cheese. It's a little pricey but just soooo delicious. At christmas, Denniners sell the riches, thickest most yummiest eggnog, too.
