The dumplings are amazing! I have been looking for an amazing dumpling restaurant for months and I'm so happy to have found it.
The fried rice is perfect, steamed chive dumplings and soup dumplings are bursting with flavor and as always the classic bbq pork buns are sweet and jammie. The best bun is hands down the custard bun: it was unbelievably beautiful.
Thank you to the chiefs and to Charles, you made my night with amazing food and a kind welcome.

This is a great spot for both dim sum and Chinese dining. I highly recommend the hot pot, as the quality is excellent. The dim sum is also very good and well worth a try.

They are very loud at night. It is hard for the neighbours to sleep. There is a lot of yelling until 3am…. Food is good though.

Hands down vest Dim Sum in town! Great authentic taste like your family uncle from Hong Kong cooks. Prices are fair considering how flavorful and fresh everything is made to order! Hubby and i have been going here for a while now. Look at how well balanced the crispy delicious gelatinous shell us to meat ratio. Not overpowering with too much salt and we always leave feeling satisfied not heavy 😊 my godd that cold shredded chicken Hits! Good eats

BEST DIMSUM IN THE GTA

Woah was craving dim sum at work in Hamilton. And found this close by. I am blown away by the tastiness and quality and for the price it's worth it. The chilli oil is home made and is like crack. So full of juicy garlic infused flavor that seems like it was cooking forever.

I've been to almost every dim sum place in Toronto and Mississauga and this beats it by a mile

The dim sum is not quite at par with other dim sum restaurants in Toronto, but the dining area is spacious and comfortable. Service is attentive and friendly, which makes for a pleasant experience overall. A decent option if you value comfort and service over top-tier dim sum quality.

I think they changed the chef. Some items don't taste the same. So disappointed it was the best dim sum in town.

I recently had the pleasure of dining with my neighbor and my wife at Dim Sum House in Hamilton, and it was a truly satisfying experience from start to finish.

The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy dining space that makes it a comfortable spot for both family gatherings and casual meals. The service was attentive and efficient, which added to the overall positive experience.

Now, to the highlight—the food. The variety of dishes offered is impressive, covering all the traditional favorites that make dim sum so beloved. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) were fresh and delicate, with a perfect translucent skin that held generous portions of juicy shrimp. The siu mai was another standout, flavorful and tender with a nice touch of roe on top. The steamed beef balls were light yet rich in taste, and the dumplings filled with vegetables were both hearty and refreshing.

For something a little different, I really enjoyed the curry squid—savory with just the right level of spice. The pan-fried turnip cakes were crispy on the outside and soft inside, pairing beautifully with the accompanying chili sauce. The rice noodle rolls (cheung fun) were smooth and silky, filled generously and served with a light soy sauce that balanced the flavor well.

The selection also included comforting options like fried rice with vegetables, which was fragrant, colorful, and satisfying. The blanched greens drizzled with oyster sauce added a fresh and healthy contrast to the meal.

Overall, every dish was presented neatly, portions were generous, and the quality was consistent across the board. Dim Sum House delivers both authenticity and flavor, making it a fantastic place to enjoy a wide selection of dim sum in Hamilton.

If you are looking for a spot that combines great food, reasonable prices, and a friendly environment, Dim Sum House is definitely worth visiting. It’s a gem for dim sum lovers and a great way to enjoy Cantonese cuisine right here in the city.
