Went last week with my mum and sister. Our family used to own Opies previously so we wanted to check it out, we were so impressed with the food, service and diner as a whole they have done such an amazing job. The owner and his wife were kind enough to show us the kitchen and take time to talk to us. They deserve all the business! Such a hard working family and truly so kind. I wish you all the best and will be back to visit again!
Went at noon hour on Sunday. One waitress for the place. Took 20 mins to get seated, 10 mins for a drink, 45 mins for the meal. It wasn't crazy busy so I find it to be unacceptable.
A classic diner. The food isn't fancy, but it cooked just right. The place isn't fancy but it's comfortable. The service is great. And the prices can't be beat. It's hard to find a classic breakfast for under $20 these days. I had the classic breakfast (eggs, ham, home fries, toast) all good. My friend said the pancakes were kinda meh, like maybe frozen, but the rest was good.
