Best coffee downtown for well over a decade for me, fantastic fresh lunch specials and tasty snacks!
Great little cafe with best affordable fare in the city. Fresh and great tasting food with a homemade touch. Wonderful soups, deserts and daily specials. Seating available washrooms are available. Very friendly and helpful owner/chef. Best homemade sandwiches in the city!

Great little cafe with best affordable fare in the city. Fresh and great tasting food with a homemade touch. Wonderful soups, deserts and daily specials. Seating available but no washrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.
It was Wednesday and I was looking for something to eat for lunch, i saw Downtown Cafe while i was strolling around and decided to get their food special , which had been the Roast beef on a bun. The total came close to $10 with the drink, a pretty pricey meal for a coffee shop. However after biting down on the bun i was amazed by the taste. from the first bite to the last i enjoyed it and it was very delicious and i would proudly go back there again.
I like to try different places for lunch to suggest to my friends when they come down and have lunch with me. This was my first time at the cafe, the service was great. The selection was a little lacking compared to surrounding cafes that served equal amounts of hot and cold foods. I ordered the BLT Wrap for $3.99 and added a side salad on for under $2. When I got my food, I was very disappointed with my tiny BLT Wrap... There was maybe two pieces of bacon and a little handful of lettuce with a few tomato slices. The wrap itself was huge, I would guess over 12", however the small filling gave me mouthfuls of wrap and no filling. The side salad was decent compared to the BLT. I am a bit skeptical to go back and try anything like their close to $4 sandwiches for fears that I will feel quite ripped off again.
it was the best coffe shop ive ever been t, it had fast and good ervice and the food was great! i would like to keep going there.
