I had a craving for Chinese food and the place that used to be across the street from me closed unfortunately so I did a Trip Advisor search and Dragon Court came up on the list. I'm not a very exotic eater as far as Chinese food so I had traditional veggie fried rice with sweet-and-sour chicken balls. The rice was really greasy still tasty but greasy. It also lacked the veggies I was really looking forward to. I was hoping for some broccoli but there wasn't and the carrots and peas were scarce. Although I will admit there was a whole fried egg in there which was very tasty. The chicken balls were nice and crispy not overly breaded decent amount of chicken inside but the sweet and sour sauce lacked flavor it was very bland. It just managed to satisfy my craving. I'm not sure if I would try them again we'll see what the future holds but I doubt it.

There is no blood in the Maoxuewangli at the takeaway place?

For restaurants opened by Cantonese people, my personal observation is that there is a greater demand for takeout. The interior environment is good, and the dining area is also large. There are different types of tables. The large round table should be able to seat 10 people. We had dinner that day, and the food portions were large. Based on average Canadian tourists, the price was average to above average, which was acceptable. The waiter is a part-time student and can speak Mandarin and English, while the boss is a Cantonese and can communicate in Cantonese and English.

Had the steamed fish and got sick for 2 days from it. Maybe it should have been steamed longer? Also had the spring rolls, which were great, and the homemade duck sauce was amazing.

Very bland food with minimal ingredients. Not authentic at all. Only the egg rolls were acceptable. Quite pricey for the quality.

I didn't expect there to be such delicious Chinese food in Hamilton, what a pleasant surprise. The waiters are probably local students, but they are very enthusiastic and encouraging ? I will definitely go there to eat next time I pass by.

Visited this location a few months ago and happened to have a birthday party with a large group of Chinese students, and they were the only ones on arrival.
Was left alone for a few minutes as the only waitress chatted with them. And just because there were 12 people on that table (8+4), the waitress treated them like her own biological parents.
Half an hour after ordering, everyone else who arrived later than me got their food, just because they had more people and ordered more.
After the entire birthday party was over, there was still nothing on my table. The waitress was just standing next to the desk with several water bottles next to her, while my cup had been empty for more than 10 mins after asking for more water.
And the food taste like... "good enough for Canadians," as I saw other comments called it "authentic," you serious? Perhaps people can even find a random restaurant in New York or California that servers better Chinese food than entire Hamilton.

Amazing, authentic, Chinese food. Great service and atmosphere and I love that they offer dim sum. The owner was really friendly, and very accommodating to our needs.

Ordered takeout from here for the first after living in the area for a few years. I'm usually not very picky when it comes to North American Chinese food. This was legitimately the worst Chinese food I've had.The egg rolls tasted like they had dish water in it. The beef and broccoli was a sad excuse for the dish. The lemon chicken sauce was just lemon pastry sauce. The shrimp and rice were the only things not terrible. But being passable isn't really a compliment. The amount of food we get was also bad for the price. I honestly don't understand how they have anything over 2 stars. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with food poisoning after eating this sad excuse for food.If you've walked by considering trying the place out save your money and get something else. It's now the biggest waste of money I have ever made.

I have never left a review before, but this beef fried rice I bought was so bad I had too. Service was great though.
