Such a beautiful place.
The staff was amazing special compliments to Jose and Mitch - very friendly when tho it's super busy and you come up with special requests.
Food was delicious (also I would have liked the option of salt and pepper at the table and not just on request. The wine glasses were magically full the whole dinner (4course menu) time.
Vegetarian options: Very good

We went there for a company Christmas dinner and the atmosphere, service, and food were incredible. Our server was respectful, quick, and organized. The food tasted great and it was presented elegantly. The place is right on the lake so the view was incredible.

We went to the edge water to celebrate my birthday! The food was some of the best I’ve ever had and the service was even better! We had a great rapport with the waiter Mitch!
It is a night I won’t soon forget especially since we got engaged after leaving!
Thanks Edgewater for being part of our special night.

I had the pleasure of being the best man at a wedding here. The atmosphere was awesome for an intimate wedding, and the staff went above and beyond constantly. Everything from making us coffee while getting ready, to finding some pins for the a flower emergency, to excellent table service. The food was definitely top tier. I strongly recommend this venue to anyone looking at getting married in the Stoney Creek area.

This is one of my favorite dining places in all of Canada! The view of the lake, food, and service were all amazing! The ambience is beautiful and the manor is situated at a really scenic spot. The only thing that didn’t work right was that the ladies bathroom didn’t seem to have hand soap, and parts of the interior could be upgraded. Otherwise, it was great. I highly recommend this.

We held our office Christmas party here and the food, service, and atmosphere were top-notch. We will definitely be returning for future events. They were able to easily accomodate those with dietary restrictions and the night ran very smoothly.

Fine dining with a beautiful view of the lake.
The service here is impeccable.
The food is equally as good with a stellar Burger, incredible salads and unique flavors.
Really enjoyed my experience here.
Definitely worth coming in for a higher-end experience. Service is slow, which is what you're expecting for a finer establishment.
Will definitely recommend it and I look forward to coming back.

We were getting to discouraged finding a venue that had everything we wanted and didn't feel cookie-cutter at a price that felt at all reasonable, until we found Edgewater and fell instantly in love. The outdoor space on the lake cannot be beat, and the building is stunning. We had exclusive use of the building on the day, and the spaces upstairs were perfect for bride and groom suites. We got married on a Sunday which had a lower minimum spend, but even at their fri/sat prices, for the quality and everything that's included, it's a great deal and they are open to customizations and just about all requests ! We worked with Bastian (manager) and Peter (owner) throughout the process. There were some minor frustrations when what they were each saying didn't match up, but everything got worked out with minimal headache. We were a tad apprehensive when we learned that Bastian would not be the one on that day when he is who we had been working with for months, but worries were unnecessary as Roth and the team were amazing. Roth even put aside two of each hors d'oeuvres for us which was amazing as we didn't get a chance to try most of them during cocktail hour. Food was really important to us and the food at our tasting was really good, but the food on the day was somehow even better. We had multiple guests tell us that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. They were great with topping up drinks all night and the espresso martinis were a huge hit. The late night tacos were some of the best we've ever had, and they even sent us home with a couple extra entrees. The only criticism I have (and I'm really nitpicking because they were all amazing) is that before guests arrived my dad asked for an alcoholic drink and was told the bar wasn't open yet, and during the meal my cousin and I went to the bar to do a shot together and was told no shots until after dinner. I understand there are strict rules around serving alcohol, but when it comes to the bride/groom and their parents, I think small requests like this should be honored, especially when it wasn't a rowdy group by any means. As I said, a minor thing in the big picture. Overall we absolutely loved Edgewater and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special venue that provides top quality service, food, and views without a ridiculous price tag. And you cannot beat the sunset photos by the lake. We also love that because it's a restaurant and not just an event space, so we can return on anniversaries and have a little walk down memory lane. We'd choose this venue over and over.

I was recommended this place as very fancy and expensive, where even children don’t go. So, I went there to celebrate my wedding anniversary, and I took my son with me. Here are my impressions: the place is overrated. Yes, it's in a good location by the lake, but the restaurant itself is in an old building, and you can feel that age everywhere. The floors are worn out, and the furniture seems heavily used as well. The restaurant was almost empty, which didn’t make it cozy at all; you sit in the middle of the hall like a fish in an aquarium. The music was too quiet, almost not adding to the atmosphere — it was too silent, uncomfortably silent. The food and service were good, though. But I probably wouldn’t want to return to this place.
