Incredible atmosphere & great food. I am biased because I went to Egg & I when I was a kid, i got inspired by their artworks and unique dining areas which always made me want to keep coming back to Egg & I. I have not been to this location since I was very young and it is safe to say the food tastes even better than what I remembered and I brought my boyfriend here who also went as a child. Food came very quick and no wait to be seated even though it was busy. We were both blown away by the delicious home-fries, they are excellent. I had the Eggs Benny which is a great price and extremely well made. Hollandaise sauce was amazing. If you want a taste of home I highly recommend Egg & I to fulfill your needs. Chef deserves a raise, waitress was very nice to us as well even told us our food looked really good :) we will be back.

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection using high-quality, fresh ingredients. The coffee was hot and constantly refilled, and the portions were generous, definitely no one leaves hungry!
What really made the experience stand out was the excellent service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. We never had to wait long for anything.
Best of all, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. It’s clear this place is focused on value and a great customer experience, not just turning tables.

This place has gone downhill over the years. The food is mediocre at best and nearly inedible at worst (looking at you, potatos), the staff is over stretched or under attentive and the value just isn't there. Needs new management or something
This place will always be part of Hamilton's heart. You can't go wrong with this place. It's a classic brekkie diner!! I gave it a 4 star only because my bacon in my BLT was over cooked. And if I could guess, wasn't freshly cooked. It had only a tiny piece of lettuce and a nice slice of tomato. Unfortunately I have had better BLTs at other locations. Won't stop me ever from going back there. I'll just get something else next time.

Food was great! Service was good. Didn’t take too long, around 15 minutes for out food. Waffles with ice cream was delicious, the kids enjoyed it. Good price $15.49, eggs were $8. We will most likely come back!
