We asked for the bacon on the side and it came on top,waitress took it back and it came back with the bacon on top of the home fries iinstead of on the side. And the food was not hot,just likely warm . So that tells me that they didn't replace the breakfast,just moved the bacon.

My sister and I came here with her kids and we were blown away! The service was great. I can’t believe how satisfying the Revenge of the birds sandwich was - it was humongous and more than a meal! My sister got the grilled cheese benny and really enjoyed it, the home fries were very crispy and the basil hollandaise was amazing! Will be returning here for sure.

My third time going and having all very similar experiences. Clearly understaffed (as in past times being there). So to no fault of the one server, service lacked significantly. Long wait times to order and then again when food came out. Sat with an empty drink for nearly 15 minutes before getting another. Overall poor service because of being understaffed. Upstairs there was only one server I saw and about 10 tables; just too many tables for a server to give good service and be attentive. Too many great restaurants around to continue to give this place a chance.

I almost don't want to leave a good review because part of me wants to keep this place for myself. But my god everything about this place is amazing, from the servers, the music, atmosphere, and the food, the food, and omg the food.I have been here several times now and I always can't wait to return to try something else. So far I have tried the French toast (10/10), the axel Foley burger (11/10), and the avocado toast (13/10). I find myself dreaming about the food on a regular basis.Their drinks are also really good my favorite being the apple cinnamon drink.Out favourite part has to be hands down, Matthew "John" the bartender. He is amazing, as is the rest of the staff we have interacted with. I've never not had a good time at Electric Diner and cannot wait to return.

Food was great! Service was lacking a little as we had no coffee refills throughout and had to ask after being there for an hour and a half for refill. Also server never came back with the bill after two hours and clearing our plates and we had to ask another server to grab it for us. Maybe James St would be better service but the food was great.

I LOVE electric diner. Best food, best people, and the best vibes.
We all lived the vibe of the place! Fun music and lots of opportunities to teach our kiddos about various elements of diner history. Wait staff was really friendly and helpful. Food was also generally really good! Both stacks of pancakes were a little burnt for my taste (I don't mind a bit dark, but the bitterness really came through). And it seemed we came at an odd time (1:30 on Saturday) — turnover of staff resulted in waiting over 40 minutes for our food, despite being the only four people in the place. Despite this, we plan to return!
