My wife and I went here today and, gotta say - worst subs we've ever had. I had mixed on whole wheat, she had turkey on whole wheat. The bread was stale and had a plastic after taste, probably from sitting in the bag for so long. The mixed sub was very sparse on the meat and toppings, and what was there was tasteless. No flavour whatsoever. The turkey sub was just pure salt. Both subs were inedible, we ended up throwing them away. Won't be going back.

Every time I come here I think about there subs for weeks because they are THAT good. I ushally get the meatball sub and the meatballs are a generous size, very moist and delicious! The sauce is very tasty and the cheese melts perfectly and tastes so delicious and unforgettable. The owners are very kind and friendly. The whole atmosphere feels clean and is overall a VERY positive experience.

This is a very basic, functional sub shop that serves a small selection of very good subs. They remind me of the old Mr. Subs of the 80s and 90s: Good tasting, reliable, and reasonably priced.

11/10 I have been coming to Fennel Sub’s since I was in high-school. The quality and customer service has not changed. They were outstanding 15 years ago and they’re outstanding today. I can’t help myself to stop by whenever I’m in the area. The staff are always super friendly and nice.
The mixed sub, Apollo sub and Rockefeller sub are my faves but you can’t go wrong with your preferred sub.
I will definitely be coming back soon, and I will most likely never stop returning 💎
Fennel Submarine is easily the best sub shop on Hamilton Mountain! Always incredibly fresh toppings and buns, yummy sauces (my favourite “sub sauce” anywhere) and the staff is soooo friendly. It is also super inexpensive. It is our regular sub spot and the quality is CONSISTENT. The menu is straight forward and the product is simple and hits the spot every time. 100% worth driving out of your way for, puts Subway to shame.

Sub was great. Fresh bread and ingredients. The place is kinda of a dive tho. If i were to compare it to speedy subs. I think this place is better. You even get a loyalty card, which the other establishment doesn't! Needs a face lift and I think more traffic would come.
