A truly fine neighbourhood bar in the James North village. Amy, Mirko, Kathy are such wonderful and good natured hosts.
The regulars are stalwarts. The special evenings are really quite special. Even ordinary evenings are colourful, lively, and congenial. The selections from the jukebox are very eclectic, always interesting, and reflect the diverse nature of the clientele.
The draft pints are fresh, cold, focused, plentiful, and at an excellent price.
There is an extraordinary community feeling to this bar. If you are lucky, on a given early evening you may spot my friend the Mayor of Jamesville. He’s the tall distinguished gentleman, at the bar.
No food other than bar snacks like nuts and chips — but that’s not a problem when there are so many good independent restaurants to grab a bite nearby. Cowabunga Pizza, Ola Café, and more.
