On a snowy Yalda night, I ordered two pizzas—Brooklyn and Michel Angelo (Funghi). Both were delicious, but the Michel Angelo stood out as exceptional. The staff, especially a friendly young woman, welcomed me with genuine warmth, making the transition from the cold outside to the cozy interior feel effortless.
The restaurant’s traditional decor and homely vibe, paired with outstanding food, made my evening truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for comfort, charm, and great flavors, this place is a must-visit!

The people are great and very friendly. The Pizza is amazing and truly authentic tasting Italian Pizza. The cannoli, arancini or rice balls are amazing too. They also feature a different cake every week and it'll blow your mind with the flavors they come up with

The quality of the ingredients, the flavor and texture of the dough, and the way it was assembled was absolutely fantastic! I was blown away, truly! This place exudes a deep passion for their craft, and you can sense it the moment you walk in. And that feeling only gets stronger when you take that first bite of their pizza, no matter which one you choose! Honestly, hands down the best pizza I've had in years. Your pizza is delicious. Just wish that you provided your own delivery service. Our pizza arrived cold today via Uber eats. We had to re heat it in the oven. The box also had way too much liquid in it.
The best pizza in Hamilton. And the woman who does the cakes just tops a perfect meal.

So, I was going to write this place off as “meh” when I got a take out slice a couple months ago. Slices were average at best, and I found them very pricey.
However, I decided to try a whole pie for take out. We got the Michel Angelo and it was superb. Fair price for the high quality, and it’s a generous serving. We each had two slices for supper and there was still a slice left over for lunch. Flavourful but not too greasy. Excellent pizza.
Whole pies 6/5 stars, out of this world.
Slices 3/5 stars, just get a whole pie.

Recently tried Flora for the first time and it was a great experience. Liked the atmosphere/aesthetic of the shop and that you could see everything being prepared. Picked up a slice of the pepperoni and funghi, along with the olive oil cake. Pizza was above average but the star of the visit for me was the olive oil cake. Not too sweet, none of the flavours were overpowering, everything complemented everything else very well... LOVED the passionfruit. Would be a perfect cake for a bridal shower to be honest. Will watch for its return on instagram!
Oh, and parking can be difficult in the area during the daytime due to its proximity to the hospital and other medical buildings. Best to go in pairs and have someone do a couple of laps around the block while someone orders/picks it up. Probably better in the evenings.
