The food was rather good. The atmosphere was rather enjoyable except for no music till later in the evening. The service wasn't horrible but wasn't top-notch either. I understand it was a busy evening, but when I ordered drinks it sometimes didn't seem that the server was paying attention to our group.

So..... love this place. Have for years. Came to Hamilton, moved out east a few years ago. So when I was coming back I had a lot of people to visit and decided to call 4 days in advance for a reservation. I was called a half hour before my reservation told the place was closing due an emergency. Sure, no problem. To my surprise I was informed by one of my guests I had trouble getting a hold of them that the bar was full and people still coming in and out after 7pm. I am sorely dissapointes, it was difficult struggling for a reservation last hand. This place really let me down. After recommending it to tons of people, I doubt I will pass on the positive feedback going forward. It's a shame.

So disappointed! We usually have great food and service. Not this time! Service was terrible (from table server). We have been there on busy nights before and never had such poor service or such a terrible meal.Ordered appetizer (it came cold and had to order new) No side plates, cutlery, or condiments. We had to “chase” other staff to receive condiments because our server wouldn’t make “eye contact after we continually tried to flag her down. Server never came to table to ask if we wanted another drink or if we needed anything (which we did). Fish and Chips were over cooked, greasy (fish dry inside and over-battered) fries were hard, greasy and had “rock salt” pooled, along with a pool of grease, on the plate.

STOP SELLING AWFUL FREEZER BURNED WINGS TO PATRONS AND GET SOME REAL BEER GLASSES ITS QUITE FRANKLY EMBARRASSING FOR YOU TO CHARGE $9 FOR A FLAT BEER IN A DOLLAR STORE GLASS..
