Found this place on the way to Niagara and happy we did. Right on the beach and reasonably priced. The portions are huge, we couldn’t eat it all. Not sure why people didn’t like the fries, we loved them. Will definitely come again!
Always a great treat and be prepared for a bit of a wait but they do the best they can as is it a popular spot we ate outside as we had our pup with us
Best place for fish and chips in the world.
Best fish and chips, right along the beach, affordable food and made fresh to order. Love coning here during the summer. There’s also a small ice cream window as well in the back of the restaurant to grab a sweet treat before you head out on a walk along the beach.
Great place to walk and see sites both on the beach and on sidewalk.
Fish and chips were very greasy..and chile was bland.
Also very long 40 minutes wait for food .
Amazing fish and chips. Huge pieces of fish, worth every penny. Poutine was awesome too, I find gravy is normally hit or miss at most places but this one was great. First time coming here and even though it was quite a wait to order food and ice cream and wait for it to be prepared, still worth it! Love old school diners and this place takes the cake..
Always great....fresh cut fries that are nice and crispy!!!!
We went in November, clearly in the office season and this place was still BUSY. I can't imagine summertime. This was a perfect little place to eat on our road trip from Toronto to Philadelphia. The food was great, high quality, not insanely expensive. Highly recommend.

We popped in here on 11/23/2024 around 6:00 P.M. it was relatively not busy as usual. Plenty of parking and there was plenty of room in dining areas (back & front areas). We decided to order the large Fish & Chips, with an order of coleslaw. (With an extra plate & plastic cutlery). The cook Hutch’s had on this night in the kitchen, definitely knew how to cook (sometimes you get burnt, under cooked) Fish & Chips, but this chef should be commended. The whole meal was perfect, cooked to perfection and huge generous size of fish and an over abundance of fries (took some home) in doggie box. Coleslaw was nice and creamy too, just enough mayo in it, with shreds of carrots finely grated up. Kudos to Hutch’s on this evening, keep up the consistency of excellent product and you’ll bring in more customers IMO. Very enjoyable dinner this evening at a very reasonable prices.
Parking: On this day, we have two disability plates and had no problem finding a spot in one of many disability parking spots on the large parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: Yes many children were there with their parents.

A classic vintage restaurant perfectly lined up with the beach, giving barrier free views to the beach and the CN too on clear days! Freshly fried food with generous portions, and delicious fried fish, shrimps, coleslaw, and huge onion rings. To top it up is a hot fudge brownie with a legit cherry on the top! Don't miss the foosball and jukebox! Highly recommended if in the area!
