Jack Astor's Bar & Grill Eastgate

My 1st and last time at this location.
We ordered calamari as appetizer and they were over fried, very tiny and very poor quality.
For my son’s meal we asked for plain Hamburger without cheese, but got chicken strips instead.
Food took way too long to be served!
I’m allergic to cheese so we created a pasta with tomato sauce instead but then they put cheese on top. TERRIBLE!!!
The worst was the waitress attitude when I pointed out that I specifically asked for zero cheese. She said “there’s only a bit at the top”. Extremely unprofessional!
$220 for a terrible experience!
Me and my family won’t be coming back!

Great staff at this location, chain so food is consistent but can’t be 5 star. Came with my daughter and she love the extensive decorations for Xmas.

Came with a group of 10 ppl. Was absolutely ridiculously priced. Had 2 appetizers and 2 non alcoholic ceasers and was 80.00. Nachos had very.little topping and hardly any meat. Calamari was tiny and poor quality. My friend ordered her steak blue and they brought it to her almost well done.

My friend and I went to Jack Astors for her birthday and a Christmas celebration today! The atmosphere is amazing, it’s all decorated for Christmas it’s such a fun happy vibe! Steve was our server and he went above and beyond to make our visit extra spectacular ! He made a special birthday Ceaser with a sparkler. He was such a great waiter and provided was 10/10 lunch!

Amazing dinner experience. Alicia was a fantastic server, went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. Bacon cheeseburger was one of the best we have had. All the food we had was delicious. Customer service was excellent. Will be back 100%

Sean R. was awesome during lunch! He was super friendly, made great recommendations, and kept everything running smoothly. Really appreciated how he checked in without being overbearing. Overall, a laid-back, pleasant experience thanks to his great service. Definitely made our meal even better!

Had a lovely lunch with the wife. Sean R was our server he did a great job, very attentive and quick om the refills. Very polite too. The food was fantastic the mushroom truffle burger I had was delicious and the wife had poutine with pretty decent cheese curds. Great experience will go back.
