The staff is amazing, and they provide awesome vegan food options, which are delicious junk food. It is a place to enjoy good vibes, learn local history, and have a variety of drinks. The pub is praised for its vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu, making it a great spot for families or friends to enjoy. The food across the board is amazing, using local produce, local vegan "meats," and local beers. This place is a brand ambassador for Hamilton. The pub-style atmosphere has lots on tap and the food was great too, with options like the Reuben sandwich, chick’n parm, peanut butter Nanaimo bars, Tuesday special lasagna, tomato soup, golden soup, and chili nachos. The lasagna was great, the side Caesar was nice and crisp, and the garlic toast had loads of garlic. It is a great spot to hang out for a bit.
