Staff was very friendly and efficient. They answered my inquiry of Mirin usage (they don't use it) over the phone kindly and with knowledge of their own product. Atmosphere was the best I've ever had a sushi restaurant. There was a nice 2 seater for my wife and I with a privacy screen. Loved it! Also they have popular anime figurines in the shop lol.
We've been going to Joya for many years. The food is high quality. You can go to an all-you-can-eat, but the quality is not the same as Joya. Prices are reasonable, portions are good, atmosphere is nice, and the owners and staff are wonderful hard-working people. We've tried other places and even if they are good, nothing compares to Joya Sushi in Hamilton!
