The food itself was excellent — beautifully presented, well-prepared, and full of flavor. However, while they were pleasant and clearly doing their best, the result was very slow service. Long waits between courses, delayed drink refills, and an overall sluggish pace made what should have been a relaxing evening feel frustrating at times.

I hate to be the negative guy as I'm pretty sure our situation was a one off. Friends who have frequented this place have raved about it. Having said that, we had a reservation for 6:30 pm and arrived promptly. We order pretty quickly thereafter. Drinks came after a bit and then apps. After waiting almost 2 hours, we finally received our main courses a little after 9 pm!!! Our other friends came in after us. Ate their entire meal and were gone for an hour before we even got our meals. And listen I get it. Sometimes things get mixed up, but unfortunately our server didn't know how to handle the situation at all. She came around once to say it would be a couple minutes. Finally I went and inquired and she said 10 more minutes. It was another 45 minutes after that. When the bill arrived, it said 'customer comp' -.60. You read that right. 60 cents. Our guest said that was unacceptable and after our server discussed it with someone at the bar, they knocked off a $15 dessert. Just thought the whole thing could have been handled a whole lot better. It's unfortunate too because the food was pretty good and we really wanted to like the place. After that experience, we wouldn't' be in a rush to go back. If it was handled a little better, we likely would. We left around 10:15 almost 4 hours after we got there. Missed the entire Oilers/Panthers game as a result.

This was my fifth time dining at Kamoosh, and once again, it did not disappoint! Cathy is ALWAYS lovely – her warmth and hospitality truly elevate the experience. The food was, as always, outstanding. Both of my friends were first-timers and absolutely loved it. We'll definitely be back!

Our overall experience was exceptional as always. Our waitress Marie was very attentive, cheerful as well as knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, I've never had a better pork chop and the Koosh was equally delicious. We always order the duck pate as it is a favourite of mine.

Arrived at 6:45, ordered as soon as the waiter came by. Had our food at 8:30!!! So noisy in the restaurant we had to shout to hear our conversation. Should try to do something about the noise, needs sound barriers. Won't be going back any time soon.
