Pretty disappointed and this is always my favourite Chinese food I travel a long distance just to pick up.
Asked for no carrots in le chinois special and asked for kung pow shrimp not chicken. I’d expect for $100 worth of Chinese food I’d get exactly what I’m paying for.
Really good fried rice. Like, REALLY good fried rice. Dunno what they're putting in there. The rest is solid; bit pricey but always delicious and filling.
Very friendly staff. Always a great option if you're looking for Chinese food. Large portions.
First time I've ordered food from this store it was recommended to me. I should not have taken recommendation because the food was second rate, chicken fried rice was awful beef with vegetables beef was really good however vegetables are undercooked the only good thing about this order was the spring rolls and the beef. I spent $43 for this delivery and I will never ever order food from this place again it was bloody awful because this i
I am put off Chinese food
We just ordered from Uber eats and their food was terrible. We threw most of it in the garbage.
Omgggggg how have I not know about this place?!? authentic Chinese cuisine with so much flavour. I got the orange beef and never have I ever had my mouth and tastebuds doing backflips. So good!!!
I've ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times, and while the food tastes good, I’ve been consistently disappointed with the value for money, especially with the meat dishes. It seems like many of the dishes are about 80% veggies and only 20% meat, which doesn't feel like a fair portion for the price. Though the flavors are solid, I think I’ll be trying other places next time for better meat-to-vegetable ratios.
The food is always great. Tastes like a level above other establishments.
I ordered the orange chicken and house special noodles. Everything tasted great and I can’t wait to try other dishes they offer.
I went to this restaurant and was really disappointed. The food was bland and overpriced, and the service was slow. I wouldn't recommend it at all.
Restaurantji Recommends
Chicken fried rice, very flavorful and not all the soy sauce you get at other places
Cantonese chow mein with soft noodles are great!!
Chicken strips are a nice change from traditional chicken balls and you get so much more meat
Definitely recommend this place !
The guy at the cash is super accommodating and extremely friendly - nice to have this level of service!
The portions are small for the price. The vegetable fried rice had only a couple of peas as “veggies” . The vegetable noodles had 1 piece of broccoli as garnish. The rice was tough. All of this food is so cheap to make, it’s unreasonable to not give good portions, do better
We ordered from Uber Eats. The kung pao chicken smelled rancid as soon as we opened the package and tasted awful. Ended up throwing it away. Very disappointing.
burnt chow mein noodles, oil drenched spring rolls, bland wonton, orange beef is fried so hard you won’t know what’s in it
Moo shu pork! If you like chicken balls, this is not the place. If you want affordable take out close to authentic, then come here. Finding moo shu pork on a menu is difficult. Take out extraordinary. Moo shu was good! Wonton soup good! House special mixed with brown noodles exceptional. Portion size was good. Price fair. I will be back.
