Very convenient and nice spot to grab a plate if you’re near by or just living in the neighborhood, food looks vibrant, eggroll is huge, tempuras are amazing here.
Most negative reviews feel like people who are just entitled, one is complaining about their DoorDash driver even though that has nothing to do with the restaurant, don’t think he’s smart enough to realize but that made me want to leave a review to justify this place
Ok, just hating all of the reviews.
Here's my view. I ordered an egg roll. It was amazing, with bean sprouts in it. Unlike the egg roll I ordered from the more popular store in University Plaza. The egg roll I ordered from them was not an egg roll. It was full of sour cabbage that made me literally gag. I ordered a won ton soup, it was a delicious bowl of traditional won ton soup. The proprietor of this restaurant is in his eighties. They speak broken English. So, repeat your order to them. If you want traditional Chinese food and no surprise this is your happy place. I do agree the frozen tunnel shrimp are terrible. They used to make battered shrimp. They were amazing. But aging takes a toll. Give them a break. It's a wonderful traditional Chinese food take out run by two very lovely seniors. Beautiful people.
Delivery driver insisted that I order more next time to get delvery after I paid $8+ of tips and delvery fees for a $13 order. Was my first order and last from this place due to their rude greedy driver.
Lots of food for inexpensive price 👌🏻
We've ordered here before and usually it's pretty good, this time we were not impressed sadly. The food was very bland, we ordered the General Tso's chicken and the Orange beef which were both not very good, the General Tso's had zero heat to it and the orange beef sauce was interesting to say the least. I ordered 2 orders of the sweet and sour shrimp, thinking it was traditional style, I even called back to enure it was breaded shrimp not the panko torpedo style they have now and was assured it was breaded traditional style, only to find out once we got the order it was the panko torpedo style :-( I'm sure there's better options in Hamilton, we'll be trying somewhere else next time.

Don't waste your time and money on this. It's very overpriced and the food is quite bland and tasteless. Also, the portions are awful. I ordered a beef noodle dish and there was practically no meat and just cheap, mediocre noodles. Very expensive and not worth it. Got takeout so I assume deliveries are going to be worse if this is what they serve in person

Don't waste your time or money. Been burned twice by this take out restaurant for delivery. Missing food or extremely late delivery. Lesson learned now. Never again. Go to/ university Plaza place for much better service.

Who would have thought the best Hot & Sour soup in the world is made a block away from where I live?
I've tried it in dozens of restaurants in a half dozen different cities, but this is the best.
All other food is generous with meat and delicious... very pleased with the special Egg Foo Young I tried for the first time today.
God bless them!

Ordered through a delivery service. The lemon chicken was a dry deep fried chicken breast with half a cut lemon. The egg rolls were inedible. The beef chowmein consisted of 5 tasteless little pieces of tough meat and watery bean sprouts. The wonton soup was tasteless as well. The chicken fried rice and the little sweet and sour battered pork(?) were at least edible. Most wiĺ be thrown out. Perhaps if you order spicy foods that I've never tried it would be better, but I won't chance it. Years ago their food was way better. Not now unfortunately.

Used to order from Lee’s years ago, wife and I got sick one time on some food. We tried another competitor in Dundas (won’t mention the name), and apparently it’s under new owners. Their food was just not very appetizing, so on New Year’s Eve 2023, we ordered BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls, and Tempra Battered Shrimp along with a couple of egg rolls. The food was hot and fresh, egg rolls were nice and crunchy with a lot of filling. Have tried the Won Ton Soup in the past, very nice tasty flavour of broth, mixed with pork won tons, spinach and mushrooms. Friendly proprietorsserving the public, can take-out or have delivery on “Skip the Dishes”.

We have had Lee’s Chinese Food on Main Street West in Hamilton over the years and it has always been fresh and hot. We ordered takeout Sunday and it was delicious. It is a small family run business and the owners are lovely. The dinner was $49 for 3 with

Great food as always. Have been getting Chinese here for over 25 years.
We just moved back in this hood, 08/17/2023 area, when we lived in Dundas, ON about 10 years ago, we ordered from this restaurant frequently when we felt like Chinese Food. We since moved far away, so we had chosen or found other establishments. On this day, I wasn’t overly hungry 08/20/23 they close at 10:00 P.M. on Sundays. I placed just a small order of (2) egg rolls and (1) Won Ton soup for pickup. I ordered about 9:25 P.M. and picked my order up at 9:45 P.M. Took my food home, the egg rolls were excellent, good size with plenty of filling inside them (thick and crunchy). The Won Ton soup came in a styrofoam bowl and plastic lid. The broth was steaming hot, broth was excellent, not too salty. Had many ingredients, like huge won ton noodles (with meat inside, very flavourful), mushrooms, spinach leaves, shreds of BBQ pork all in all a very enjoyable “snack”. Friendly proprietors and staff on hand at time of pickup. Will definitely be returning back!
