So disappointed at our last visit. We made a reservation one hour before arriving. The restaurant was quite full. Everyone was waiting for food. I ordered a salad as my main and a glass of wine, and my partner ordered pasta. My wine and salad came quickly, but we were still waiting an hour later for his dish. When asked, the server said that 'technically' mine was an appetizer! I asked for a piece of bread, and no, they don’t have bread unless you order a full plate of bruschetta. We asked for the pasta to come asap. There was no offer to refill our empty water or the wine. Still no pasta half an hour later. My partner then crossed the restaurant and spoke with a more experienced server and she said there was just one staff in the kitchen that night! For that whole restaurant. We were very hungry by then so we cancelled his order and left, nearly 2 hours since arriving,, leaving cash on the table for the salad and wine consumed. The previous visit was similar, only they were short a server, so the service was again very slow. Why didn’t the man who took our reservation tell us about the situation? We could have chosen another place and been home at a decent time. Why didn’t our server explain we would have to wait a long time and why?. Maccheroni is now off our list permanently.

Quite a nice time! My pasta dish was bland but every other appetizer and entree our table had we all loved. Our server was really sweet and funny and the patio out back was lovely. The service was very, very slow, though; I'm not sure if that was a one-time thing or if they were understaffed

Food took forever. Ordered the carbonara and chicken parm. The carbonara was sloppy…. Like a cheap linguine. The chicken parm…. Dry… dry… dry.. the breaded chicken was awful. Two thin slices hidden under cold cheese. Had to use my fork in a scraping motion to tear a piece off because my knife couldn’t cut through it. I returned the parm. Had to leave hungry.
Truly, this is one of the worst dining experiences ever. The servers were very good and could only do so much with what they had.

Food is okay (might be a little bit salty in my opinion) but don’t come here if you just want to grab a quick lunch or dinner (be prepared to wait). It takes some time for them to serve the food but the waitress is a nice lady. Tiramisu is decent but not much different from the one you grabbed from the grocery store. Don’t forget to ask for a main course’s actual price since the menu could be outdated.

Have been coming to this restaurant for 15+ years. The staff is super friendly, the owner has usually made an appearance when visiting. The baked Zitti is my favourite dish and a close second is the Bruschettta with Feta. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Italian food!

Met up with friends for dinner on a nice summer day, they have a lovely outdoor patio which looks very inviting. We ate inside as it was a very hot day. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and a delight to deal with. The food was delicious, excellent appetizers, we have meatballs and bruschetta. All of our meals were amazing, my favourite was the pasta carbonara. The tiramisu was perfect with a cappuccino. Would highly recommend going for a delicious meal.

My friend and I met up here for dinner last week based on her suggestion. The atmosphere was nice and the waitress was friendly and funny! For my appetizer, I ordered the Bruchetta (small) with the feta (feta is bettah). It was actually a large portion, in my opinion, and was very yummy! For my main I ordered the Fetuccinne con Pollo alla Fiorentina, the serving was huge and filled with chicken, mushrooms, spinach and plum tomatoes, I ate my fill and still has enough left over for a substantial lunch portion the next day!! For dessert, I had the Teramisu (the only dessert option available that night), and it was very decadent and delcious!! All items are pictured. Overall, I had an excellent eating experience at Macheroni Cucina Alfresco, and I look forward to returning and trying some of the other items on their menu! It is a perfect spot for a casual dinner with family/friends or a romantic date!
