Wow nice. First time thete although I live close by. Wait staff were amazing. Food was very good, just not spectacular. We went when the mcmaster students were not around so lots of room. Great place. Why was I not there before?

Food was amazing, the cook was losing her mind in the back because she was going as fast as she could, but the lady working with her serving was a lil bossy towards her I guess and you could see on the books face she was stressed and not getting paid enough lol. Server looked like she was just there to get the day overwatch and the cook was there to bust ass but I could be wrong. It didn't seem like an overall happy place and I was coming from mac for my daughte to have breakfast so I was already not feeling great then to walk in and see it so dull and down was not a great feeling. And then to get a 30.00 bill for three pancakes a side of bacon and a side of sausage was a bigger blow so as good as the food Is and the fact that it was a take out order and I still had to pay 30.00 for such a small amount of food was just disappointing

Breakfast on Snow Day! We went to the Maple Leaf Pancake House the day before Valentine’s Day, the morning after the biggest snowfall of the season. We thought that was a good idea… So did everyone else! The restaurant was almost full with students, friends, families — as it is so often. The kitchen kept up with the steady run of orders, the service was welcoming and cheerful, and the food was great. Easy to relax, have a conversation, eat well, enjoy the coffee. This favourite breakfast spot has been a landmark for so many years for good reason. The best in Hamilton for breakfast, and an easygoing diner brunch or lunch. I’ll have the Special #4!

Each time I come to hamilton from Ottawa to bring my son to McMaster University. I stop here, start with a egg benedict then the cinnamon pancake. This is the breakfast place all want. They should franchise and come to Ottawa.

Unmistakably beautiful! The crew are A-mazing and the environment is truly engaging! And the food is excellent! Or should I say, EGG-celent (as far as the breakfasts go!!!)!!! Been eating there almost everyday - EVERYDAY- for the past ten years now!
We went here a month ago and it was one of the best breakfast I've had in a long time..I wonder if there is a new owner. A few days ago we had the worst breakfast ever..service was poor and unknowagable .asked for Peameal on a buttered toasted kaiser..no butter cold kaiser and greasey fat Peameal.home fries were cold and not cook all the way.my friend had a big breakfast with 2 orders of toast which both were burned on both sides and hardly any butter so toast was cold dry and hard

Absolutely just destroyed some choccy chip banana pancakes. Friendly waitress. Food cane our fast. Was delicious. I showed up with a booster juice and still flying around with preworkout energy from the gym. They didnt care. Got me seated, got me fed and got me out of there happy. Hell yeah
