I haven’t been here in several years, the wife and I gave it a try today, we both had the classic breakfast, the food was great and staff was friendly. The building is little dated but I’ll definitely be back soon

A comfortable warn in diner. Went in at 11.30 and the place was 2/3 full of quietly content patrons. Just the one waitress but she was managing everybody with a smile and was pleasant to communicate with. I had the classic breakfast, simple but good quality, best bacon I have had from a diner in a while. I would come back.

Wow nice. First time thete although I live close by. Wait staff were amazing. Food was very good, just not spectacular. We went when the mcmaster students were not around so lots of room. Great place. Why was I not there before?

The food is great and the service is awesome. The waiter helping us was very sweet.
Food was amazing, the cook was losing her mind in the back because she was going as fast as she could, but the lady working with her serving was a lil bossy towards her I guess and you could see on the books face she was stressed and not getting paid enough lol. Server looked like she was just there to get the day overwatch and the cook was there to bust ass but I could be wrong. It didn't seem like an overall happy place and I was coming from mac for my daughte to have breakfast so I was already not feeling great then to walk in and see it so dull and down was not a great feeling. And then to get a 30.00 bill for three pancakes a side of bacon and a side of sausage was a bigger blow so as good as the food Is and the fact that it was a take out order and I still had to pay 30.00 for such a small amount of food was just disappointing

Breakfast on Snow Day! We went to the Maple Leaf Pancake House the day before Valentine’s Day, the morning after the biggest snowfall of the season. We thought that was a good idea… So did everyone else! The restaurant was almost full with students, friends, families — as it is so often. The kitchen kept up with the steady run of orders, the service was welcoming and cheerful, and the food was great. Easy to relax, have a conversation, eat well, enjoy the coffee. This favourite breakfast spot has been a landmark for so many years for good reason. The best in Hamilton for breakfast, and an easygoing diner brunch or lunch. I’ll have the Special #4!
