I ordered the half size ramen combo with gyoza and chicken karaage. I chose the jidori paitan miso flavour and it was so creamy and delicious! The chef even came out to ask how the food was. We really appreciated that and will definitely return. I like that they have half size soups so you can also get sides for a better price. They even work with a local farm. A gem in Hamilton, well worth it!

I'm Japanese and have tried all of the ramen restaurants in Hamilton and Toronto. It was the best chicken broth ramen ever! My favorite is Shoyu Paitan. Love their crispy and tender Karaage too, and their chashu was outstanding?? Definitely will come back so many times more??

We got the miso chintan and the spicy sesame!! Both are impressive in their own ways. Eating them gave me home made vibes. I also appreciate their menu model with the half combo options!
Best ramen in Hamilton. The quality of the ingredients is phenomenal and it shows. Wish there were some tonkotsu ramen options but I have no gripes with what they serve.
This is an unbelievable restaurant. The food is executed at the highest form of skill and taste. They utilize the freshest, highest quality local ingredients. They care so much about what you as a consumer are receiving and work so hard for you. I have had their food whether is dine in, take out, or even frozen, and every time I am so graciously pleased. They cater to all forms of dietary restrictions, and even those items are superb. Please do yourself a favour and go enjoy the best Ramen in the city.

Before coming here, I didn’t consider ramen a food I particularly enjoyed based on many poor experiences.
These guys changed my opinion and make something special. Menya Kyu clearly takes pride in the quality of their product and it shows. The Paitan is rich and creamy without being heavy and overwhelming.
Overall, the food is simple and subtle allowing the quality and flavor to shine through. And you feel good after eating it. The service is very fast and non-intrusive; exactly what it needs to be. No more and no less. Just like their food.
