Have been here twice and both times the ramen was hitting! Love the chili crisp, and the spicy sesame ramen, very tasty broth and generous bowl of soup, so comforting and filling.
The karaage chicken could use a pinch more salt but still tasty and crispy enough.
Staff is welcoming and pleasant.

Incredible vegan ramen.. maybe best in Hamilton! Appetizer dumplings were also amazing. The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol which was kind of refreshing - enjoyed a non alcoholic aashi super dry.

We dined as 1st time customers. Service was good. Decor and ambience were great. We were guided to our seats. Menu is straightforward. Waiting times for food are not long. We ordered jidori Paitan shoyu ramen, chintan shoyu ramen, salad, and gyoza side. They were adequately portioned, fairly priced, delicious, flavorful, and filling. We were satisfied with our orders. Area is great for casual dining and chats with friends. I highly recommend.

Run, don’t walk! An incredible restaurant that we are so lucky to have here in Hamilton. We take all our guests here when they come into town.
While I love many of the ramen flavours, I have to give a shout out to the current special, the misobata corn ramen. Truly one of the best ramens I’ve ever had in my life. I hope it always comes back!
I also always order the Karaage to start and Yuzu ice cream to finish, so delicious!!

Where do I even begin with this review… Lets start with the appetizers. The Kaarage was decent, minus the splurge of Kewpie mayo on the plate. The only other decent item here was the water they served. The Gyoza lacked filling, it had no flavour, and the sauce that accompanied this appetizer didn’t help at all. The Edamame was terrible, it seemed as if they took Costco frozen packs of edamame, warmed them up and served them without any salt. Now onto the ramen…this was easily the worst bowl of ramen I have ever had. The broth had no depth and there was an odd taste to it that I couldn’t quite describe. The chicken was bland and when I took my first bite of it… ice cold. Whoever gave this place a Readers Choice award needs to have their taste buds checked. Please go to Sansotei in Toronto and seriously see if your ramen can even compare to this place. Hamilton has continuously proven that its ramen scene is subpar compared to Mississauga and Toronto. Such a disappointing experience since this place had good reviews.

Best chopstix ever!! Mannn did we really enjoy our ramen orders. One was spicy and flavourful, the other was rich, creamy and nicely umami’d😉. By the way, the chopsticks have textured tips that are great for gripping wet noodles. What doesn’t EVERY noodle house have that?!
