Mikes Subs is a local place here in Hamilton with various locations. This location I went to a few times to get a sub. I gotta say, their subs are always fresh and tasty. However, one time I found something that wasn't so tasty in my sub, a object that did not belong in a sub. Thankfully I noticed but be cautious. But I forgave them cause they're good and decent and local. The inside of Mikes Subs definitely leaves a lot to be deserved, which is generally why I always take it to go. However, you can get a lottery ticket here with your sub.

This place over charges for a sub $14 and not worth it! I got the stan club and it had 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of roast beef and 2 slices of turkey! So thin all i could taste was lettuce and tomatoes. There's more meat on a mixed sub! The people before me were told they couldn't get other toppings because it was too much??? And the guy wanted his toasteed and she microwaved it and the girl wanted it toasted with everything in it and she said no???? Lmao . Wow!!! I use to work at mikes on ottawa and fennell and never had i seen anything like that before. The subs were a good portion and the service was great! This place sucks!! I think I would rather drive to buddys or paradise subs. So disappointing and a waste of money.

Mike's Sub's on upper James I've been eating Mike's Subs at that location since 1974 Sincerely still the very best softest bun's in town, place that you can trust it's clean, Friendly,polite,Patient, excellent meat's alway's fresh, I've never had a bad Submarine from Mike's & not one problem with Mike's Sub's After all these years !!!WOW It's truly the Greatest Submarine Sandwiches in Hamilton Best store is the Upper James location with the greatest price's🙆🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️around too🥰 !!! I love my sandwiches with a cool beer 🤷🏽♀️🍻lol

Subs are fine, as is service. 10$ for a mixed is pretty ridiculous though. I got a sub from mikes on gage just yesterday and it was only 7$. And they didn't ask for the tip option.

This is now my go to place for Subs. My 2 little guys love it and the service is friendly and welcoming. They have a good variety of choices and the food tastes great! Buns are nice and fresh and the toppings are generous. Would definitely recommend you give it a try.

The subs had a yellow oily liquid generously applied that smelled and tasted like lemon 🍋 cleaner.. I stopped✋️ everyone before they ate it, got a refund.. they are now in the trash🗑. - 100 stars is appropriate . The items were Tuna subs.
