Momo Chowmein - The Hakka Spot

I tried Momo Chowmein - The Hakka Spot and the food was awesome! The chilli chicken was spicy and super tasty, the chicken lollipop and chicken momo were delicious too. The Manchurian chicken fried rice was amazing and really reminded me of the flavors from India. Definitely going back again soon!

Momos were AMAZING and the chow mein we ordered came in incredible portions. We spent less than $90 for a family of 5! All the staff were super kind and hospitable. Definitely a hidden gem!

Great ambience, customer service tops it with great dishes. Sadheko was off from authentic and Pani Puri’s water was missing sour flavour other than that amazing food and service.

2nd visit, waiting patiently for waitresses to come and grab us a table while someone walked in and sat on table and server told us we are sorry we are full. Like our patience was the problem so I guess you just have to be disrespectful to others and grab the table as soon as you walk in to get a table. Unprofessional.

Take out was great. Really good portions that make the price worth it. Flavours were good and the dishes did not all taste the same or have the same texture which can happen at other establishments. This will now be my go to for Chinese.

We WERE going to eat somewhere else before realizing our first choice was closed.
And what a HAPPY accident it was that we chose to come here!!!! The food was AMAZING! So flavourful, a little spicy, and the portions were perfect! I'm not even done eating yet as I write this review 😂 it's just so damn good, I had to write about it.

Edited old review based on bad service received from last visit. The waitress literally asked us to move out of the table giving the table for her friend's even we came first and sit on the table before them. She just came and told us the table is reserved when her friends showed some facial signs to get seat. Never know they have reservations for table and even another waitress told us the table is free that's the reason we sit there.

I went in today. There was 1 table left and 1 of the server asked us to sit there. We sat there and then all of a sudden, a group came and tried to sit on our table along with us. We said, we are on that table. Then the group showed some actions with face to another waitress and she randomly came and told us the table is already reserved when we were already placed there.

4 months ago: Omg I am in love with this place. The quality of food and service is perfect. Very economical for the quantity they serve. Highly recommend spot. #musttry !

Amazing service, first of all! Exceptional hospitality — everyone was so kind and welcoming. And the FOOD… omg, soooo good! The taste was incredible and the quantity was more than satisfying. Definitely worth every penny!

Good momos are hard to find! Their fried chicken momos are perfectly crispy around edges the way I like. Both my orders were Generous quantity 😁 Highly recommend for take away or dine in ♥️
