Awesome donuts. A bit weird perhaps, but in the best possible way. Like the unfamiliar feeling of a new exciting discovery. That's the mochi at work. If you prefer more traditional donuts, go for the twists. They are excellent. On the expensive side for sure, but well worth it.

I love this small bakery in Hamilton! The mochi donuts have the most delightful chew. I really like black sesame and the milk tea flavours. They are a bit pricey but worth it. The baos are also very tasty and fresh.

My husband and I love going to Momoco, the food and the service is always great! The mochi donuts are on par to some of the ones I’ve had in Japan. The baos in my opinion are super underrated and I’ve been really enjoying their experiments with other pastries like croissants! I’ve never had anything bad from here so I would highly recommend!

Today was the first time we’ve been into momocos. We were instantly greeted with a warm smile and hello. The owner explained to us what they offered and recommended some amazing options for us to try. My boyfriend is especially picky when it comes to sweets and he devoured 3 donuts instantly. I was shocked as i’ve never seen him be so in love with anything like this. 10/10 would recommend trying if you haven’t. Not only is the food great the owners are special too and really make you feel welcomed.

Coffee and tea options were very limited (non-existent). Whoever was working at 3 PM on the 4th of October seemed extremely indifferent and not willing to enlighten anyone, including us, on the flavors of mochi donut. I don't think we'll be coming back again. The three customers who came in after us were also visibly discouraged by the cashier's complete lack of willingness to explain the types of coffee they had.
Im not sure if this place is facing financial difficulty but the good reviews prior seem to conflict majorly with what I experienced with my wife here.
My new favourite donut place in Hamilton! And it doesn't stop there, their Bao is amazing, as are the curry and hot dog buns!
Peter (the owner) is awesome as well! As a frequent customer, I always look forward to seeing him.
